Digital Dozen Does Paper, Poop Decal

Well, hmmm! Ever wondered if you could just use paper to make your own decals? I decided to give it a try because I wanted to incorporate more 'actual' paper into this weeks Digital Dozen Does Paper. I decided to print off some cute Poop emoji's in different sizes and the word Poop. My base for this one was Ruby White Tips Mon Cher and Ruby White Tips Blue Realm. As you can see, even with Seche Vite as my quick dry, the paper still popped up on the edges.

SO, a total fail, but totally worth the try! Don't forget to check out my girls in the Inlinkz below.

31 Day. Day 18, Half Moon

Today I did a reverse half moon for #31dc2016. I stamped the scroll image from BP-X01 in black on my base and used my mat to create the stamped half moons for my tips. Once applied, it still needed something so I added the dotting as a break point for the two designs. The decal image was also created with BP-X01.

I liked this one, and the half moon tips was a fun take on the classic.

31 Day. Day 11, Polka Dots. Lady Queen Water Decal

I created this look with these adorable water decals from the Lady Queen site linked here. My coupon code is ELLC15 for these or anything else from the site. I totally enjoyed these, and they were the easiest decals I've used in a long time. I used strawberries on one hand and cherries on the other. The dots are just acrlylic paint on my neon base.

I loved this look so much and you really should check the decals out from Lady Queen Beauty linked here.

OMD3. Day 1, Teal. My baby is 4!

So a little while back I came up with this cute Gel Polish look to wear to celebrate my lil ones fourth Birthday. I used Gelish Radiance Is My Middle Name and Gelish Izzy Wizzy, Let's Get Busy for this and created my lil four as a decal on wax paper. Then I sealed the four under a coat of Gelish Topcoat. My pinkie stamping was created using Konad White and a plate I borrowed from a friend. I think it was a Pueen, but forgot to note it. I also sealed the stamping below the gel topcoat.

I loved this look inspired by my babes and today's OMD3 Day 1 Teal prompt was the perfect opportunity to showcase these.

#naillinkup Chevron Nails, Butterfly Nail Decals

Looking good today for Chevron prompt for #naillinkup!! I'm pretty excited with how this decal look turned out. A little more respectable than the last two. I topped Sally Hansen Crystal Beading over a gradient of Color Club Twiggie
and Rimmel I Lilac You. The butterfly's are from BM-306 and BM-303. On my pointer and pinkie I stamped on some chevrons and added freehand roses.

I've wanted to post this since I did it, but had to wait until today...Kinda like Christmas!

January 24, Decals

This is an earthy decal look I created using some leftover Born Pretty decals. I wore this as a date night look and really enjoyed it with a warm earth toned sweater. This polish is two coats of Ruby White Tips Swagger Like Michonne. I stamped a delicate leaf print with Konad Special Black and then added the decals and top coat.

We are finally getting close to the challenges end, and I'll say it really was difficult getting through this so close to the last one. No challenges for a while...I so swear!

OMD2, 10. Favorite Polish

This is for the prompt Favorite Polish. Well how do you tackle that...I went with favorite type, which for me is micro matte glitter in a crelly base! No one does this like Jindie, so this is three coats of Princess Bubble Gum with top coat. For the art fingers I went with girlie cupcakes. This is a coat of Alpine snow with a tweed design over top. I used a medium pink and silver polish on my fan brush to create this tweed and then added the cutey patootie decals from Green Goddess Creations linked here. Once the decals were on I used Rimmel I Lilac You to add a few dots and then top coat.

Hope you all like the look.

Harry Potter Nail Decals From Green Goddess Creations

**sent for review

I was feeling some decals the other day, so I pulled out these Harry Potter Water Slide Decals from the Green Goddess Creations store linked here. These Harry Potter decals offer a number of images, but I chose the broom and snitch...and no I didn't have to look that up, I'm totally into the series. I then chose to add Harry and Ron together since they both played for Gryffindor. The link for this item in the shop is here. After I was done I dded the jelly glitter Iron Throne from Daring digits as a bit of a gradient to the tips.

I thought these were nerdtastic and I loved wearing them...even though I secretly think Ron looks like he has the pox instead of freckles!

Don't forget to check out all of Lelia's goodies over at the shop. She has sooo many new ones to choose from, and as always they are super easy to use.

Zebra Nail Art, Swap

Are you sick of Mani Swaps yet...because I'm not! This one is with Instagram's Lacqueredmama linked here.

For the design I used;
China Glaze Liquid Leather
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On
Acrylic White

So here is what happened...I started with White On for the stripes, but the polish was looking lumpy. I think my White is getting thick. Anyway I switched to acrylic paint for two of the fingers and it was just as crisp and opaque. I didn't think it would be, so a happy accident. For my bows I used sliced fimo bows that I've been waiting to use. Lacqueredmama used polish and coloured studs in her design.

Here is the manis we chose. Lacqueredmama chose my old jammie monsters, and did an awesome job with them. I love them matte!

What do you guys think of the swaps so far?
Thanks for stopping by!

GG Birds and Striped Gradient

Hohoho...I feel like Santa, because I have another present for you! More decal magic from Green Goddess Creations! I liked these small coloured swallows soo much, (linked here) that I forgot to take a picture of the super fun striped gradient underneath. The idea for this look came from a blog I follow personally, Kerruticles and Claire's look is linked here for her striped gradient. I don't think I've seen this style gradient, so I wanted to try right away! Mine was created with a five piece mini nude kit from OPI. It was stunning by itself, kind of like neopolitan ice cream, but those swallows! Sooo cute in person. This had a dreamy feel.

To get the mirrored look for this I flipped over one of the decals and applied it upside down. If you haven't already, you must check out all the decals over at Lelia's store linked here. I can't wait to put together something using the Harry Potter decals she also sent!

Different Dimension, This is Not Fir. Panda Accent

This is kind of a bonus post. I've had This Is Not Fir in my untrieds for a while just waiting to be used. When I put on the adorable Panda Decals from Green Goddess Creations the other day, they made me think of this polish right away. After I wore the mani for a bit, I removed every finfer but the ring ginger and replaced it with This Is Not Fir From Different Dimension. This green is the perfect Jelly Glitter. It's squishy and the colour is beautiful, and it's got an easy formula...and oodles of glitter in various shapes and sizes!

I'm not always into greens, but this is an exception to that rule for sure. Do you guys like green? Let me know below!

Green Goddess Creations, Owl Decals

As promised, here is my second review for decals received from the Green Goddess Creations Store on Store Envy. These owl images were actually the first I saw on Instagram and followed them to the lovely Lelia's page. As I mentioned before, these decals come forty a page. You get enough for tons of manicures. When I compare to some other brands. This page has four different owls in different Owly positions. My favorite were the two chosen here, because they are so....well...goofy! If you want to check to the listing for these owls, it's linked here.

In the instructions it mentions you can take a acrylic paint and fill in the clear areas of the decal depending on the base colour your using. I wanted to try this out, so I could let you know how easy this was to accomplish. Piece of cake! I cut and trimmed the decals as before, then soaked and removed them. I flipped them upside down and splodged on the white paint with my detail brush. As you can see it's not a fussy project at all..

Next I added a quick drying topcoat and gently placed and smoothed the decals on and allowed the topper to dry. My base colour here is two coats of Ciate Peperminty.

Once that was done I went in with my details. I used Essie Shake Your $$ Maker and Nicole By OPI Daffy Dill for the leaves. China Glaze Ingrid for the wood and then added a bit of black acrylic with my brush to give a bark effect. As you can see I changed my mind and switched that middle finger to a trunk mid stream.

These last two were taken in indirect sunlight.
Don't forget to check out all the other great decals at Lelia's store linked here. All in all I am well impressed with the quality and selection of the Green Goddess Creations store. Lelia also works on custom orders for those of you who need something specific, or for a special occasion.

Green Goddess Creations, Panda Nail Decal

These amazingly adorable Panda Water Slide Decals were sent to me by the lovely Lelia over at Green Goddess Creations on Store Envy linked here. You can also see a peek of the owls I get to show you next. Her packaging was cute and her instructions very easy to follow, and you also get 40 images per sheet, so it's a great value and will last forever.

The colours I used for this mani were Sally Hansen White On, Sally Girl un-named pastel green, Essie Shake Your $$ Maker and Revlon After Party.

Below I have a shot of the decals all trimmed and ready to go. The direct link for them is linked here.

Using money maker and after party I created the bamboo accent fingers. These were very simple to achieve for anyone interested.

And voila, the stars of the show make their appearance. These went the full width of my small nail bed, so they would fit any size nails. Once I had them on I added a little more of the bamboo around the top and gave them each a bamboo snack at the bottom.

Below is a way to close-up shot so you can check out the cuteness.

I can't stand how cute these came out, I might need to retire now from the nail game...nah...I still have the owls to play with!! Stay tuned for those.

For the cute owls or these Panda guys and soo many others please don't forget to visit Lelia's Store Envy linked here.  With spring coming up decals sure make nail art quicker so you can get outside!

Cheers all,
