Born Pretty Store, Laser Chrome Powder

Today I have a loose powder review for you from Born Pretty Store. The Laser Chrome Powder linked here is so stunning, I wore it for a week over a base of Gelaze Spontaneous. I applied this by rubbing it into the inhibition layer of my second coat of the gel polish. Once I was happy with the coverage, I topped it with Gel Topcoat.

This was the easiest to apply loose glitter/powder I have tried so far, and the multi-shift glitter payoff was amazing! As I type this my fingers are gleaming in a gold tone, while twenty minutes ago at my kids school they looked green!

I highly highly recommend this one for pure gorgeous factor and ease of use!!!

Digital Dozen Does Vampy, Monday

First thing and most importantly, the Digital Dozen would like to welcome some brand new members today! We recently reached out to the community and had a wonderful response of interested ladies. Please show them love in the Inlinkz below, and enjoy all the new art.

I was at first stumped by Digital Dozen Does Vampy. It means risqué, darker, edgier and sexy. These aren't descriptive words I would usually use with my fashion or nails.

I decided to start with darker colours and a new technique. I did a blingy needle drag on the final two fingers and then decided to use the diamond images from plate BP-L013.

I used:
L.A. Colors Electrified
Essie Cashmere Bathrobe
BP-L013

So diamonds, glitter and dark colours. Sexy and edgier? I'm not sure. As for my needle drag. I definitely need to try this again. I need practice, but it was fun.

31 Day. Day 17, Glitter

Not my favourite look of the challenge so far. I was going to redo it if I had the time, but ran short. A simple dotted look over a glitter tip. The glitter is Glisten Here from Finger Paints and the purple base an unknown Color Club. The dots are acrylic paint in a white and turquoise.

That's all for now. Hope your fingers are all a-glitter today!

Cheers all,

31 Day. Day 12, Stripes. Digital Dozen 4!

I loved this soft pastel blues and purples look I created for #31dc2016 Stripes day. I used Essie Full Steam Ahead and Don't Rock the Boat as base. I then used this unknown purple for the dotting and gradient. I used Nabi Sky for my stripe stamping.

On a very special note, this look also hits all the right cues for this weeks Digital Dozen does 4 week! Why 4? It's the Digital Dozens 4th anniversary this year. Today's 'four,' was four techniques. I used dotting, gradients, stamping and glitter placement!!

The stamping over glitter was a bit wonkie, but otherwise I loved this! Congratulations to all my fellow members on the monumentus anniversary!

Valentines! Be Mine Ladies!

So I want you all to be my Valentine! See it says so right there!!
These ones here were loosely inspired by all the fantastic neon creations over at Clairestelle8 on Instagram linked here. I've been craving some neons in this mid-winter freeze, so Valentines was the perfect opportunity!

For this I used three unnamed Color Club neons and White On to create the distressed background. I stamped various Valentines and lovey dovey images from Bundle Monster and added a splash of You Rock My Heart from KBShimmer to my thumbs and pointer fingers.

This last image is my fave from my right hand. I really love this look today. It's a fun and bright wear for the holiday. Hope you all have a great day, weather it's with a loved one or a great chick flick and some chocolates.

January 22, Blobbicure

***Sent for review***
I have one last look using all those great supplies from Simply Spoiled Beauty linked here. Please use my code LMN40 to save 40%! I managed to try out a few of these cool art supplies over the last couple days, and hope you've liked the looks. This look is based on the promped Blobbicure. This was my first and possibly last Blobbicure. For someone whose a fussy freehander, the lack of control with this style was nerve wracking. I blobbed my nude polish on my wet white base and allowed a long dry time. Once dry, I wasn't a big fan of the look, so I used those great nail art squeeze pens to add the golden glitter swirls. I liked this even less, and was about to get out the remover...but reached for the dotting tool and black acrylic instead. And voila, love!

I really like the final, and it's funny I was ready to quit this one. If you want to try your own easy to use squeeze art pens go to Simply Spoiled Beauty linked here. Please use my code LMN40 to save 40%!

Pipe Dream Polish, Empyrean with Glitter Tips

A cute glitter gradient today. This is Color Show Vintage Leather Lasting Lilac with Pipe Dream Polish Empyrean sponged on my tips. I have a swatch of Lasting Lilac coming for Ya later, because it is straight up the strangest polish I've ever used, and I just had to post it. Spoiler alert, it's still pretty though.

This is a look I could totally wear for this holiday season.

OMD2, 16. Glitter Placement

This is two coats of nom nom nom! This is Cocao Nut by KBShimmer I'm using for my Glitter Placement Prompt today. We are getting there now, just passed the halfway mark in the challenge. Anyway, I used the bottle brush to splodge on some flower shapes at the cuticle line in Julep Janel and outlined it in Smaug's Gold from Ruby White Tips. I then took tiny gold studs and diamond loose glitter to create my glittery star burst also at the cuticle line.

Quick dry and Bob's your uncle folks. I kind of got an Eastern vibe off these when I was done!

Cheers all,

Happy New Years My Lovely Ladies!

This is just a quick post for New Years. This is my manicure for tonight, it's also my first time doing glitter placement like this.

China Glaze Diva Bride is my base, for stamping I used Quo By Orly Magnetic Attraction and the plate is BM-H14 from the Bundle Monster Holiday Collection. The Glitter is from OPI I Snow You Love Me.

Cheers to a new year, and all the love, happiness and joy we can imagine!
