Digital Dozen Does Fashion, Day 2

G

I wanted to do something a little different today, so I chose to recreate some lingerie fashion. The look is a recreation of this bra from Victoria Secrets linked here. I was feeling stumped for inspiration, but one of those brand emails inspired me to check out the latest in lingerie. The base polish on this is Bam from My Indie Polish. One of my favourite shades from last summer. I used one coat to keep it sheer then taped off and stamped just the tips with BM-612 to try and match the lace look of the bra. I chose this bra because of the mix of the sporty stripes, pink and girlie lace. I found it so different. I would totally wear this. For the striping I used a long striping brush and acrylic paints.

As a 'for your information'...I was super pumped with how perfect I got those stripes...and on both hands!

Julie G

This is just a quickie I put together for date night last weekend. I wasn't even goin to post because the photos don't really show how hot this one was in person, but here you go anyway. This in two coats of Julie G Sugar Rush over one coat of China Glaze Go Crazy Red. I'm glad I chose to use it for a base because it really amped it up. It was like walking around with lava hands. The accent is China Glaze Liquid Leather with Julie G sponged on the tip twice. I then added the gold stud and topped it all with Seche.

It was hot in person and I loved the simplicity.

Ruby White Tips Gradient Animal Print

This look is a stunner that was inspired by Kimiko7878 on Instagram. I used two coats of Ruby White Tips unnamed orange red holo and then sponged Ruby White Tips Smaug's Gold in the centre of each nail with a cosmetic sponge. Then with my smallest detail brush I created the animal print in black acrylic. I love the fall pallet for this animal print. It's so luscious and hot for right now.

Thanks for stopping by, what's your favorite fall look?

OMD2, 6. Duochrome

For these I started with a base of Sinful Colors Gorgeous, after that I layered on a ton of duochromes and shimmer polishes to create this sunset look. I've done a sunset prior to this, but wanted to attempt this one in an all shimmery look. I'm not going to list all the polishes, but mostly it's the Above The Curve Doctor Who Collection number two. The island and trees were created with black acrylic paint.

This image below I took outside as the day was cloudy and this mani was a sparkling tricky mess to get pics of.

This last picture is just the fingers with the island art in close up. I'm pretty happy with how these turned out.

Born Pretty Feather Decals, with Ruby White Tips Constance

So this was the first of three looks I have for you for Born Pretty Water Decals I was sent for review.
These feathers called my name right away when I went through all the images on their site. They have simply tons of options and the prices are great. The feathers are available here.

For this look I created a gradient using Constance from the American Horror Story Collection from Ruby White Tips. I than sponged on my Sally Hansen White On on different angles to add interest. Once dry and top coated, I cut out the feathers I wanted and moistened and placed them one at a time. When you do this be gentle as they still slide momentarily. This is helpful though, as you can slide them gently to exactly where you want them.

Once they were set, I allowed them to dry a moment before gently applying topcoat again to seal the whole thing.

I hope you like this as much as I did. I got many compliments. I have two more looks to come for you shortly using the other two images, one with a special dedication to a very special friend.

Cheers all, and make sure to check out Born Pretty Store and their huge selection of water decals. If you do, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!
