31 Day. Day 7, Black and White

I'm pretty proud of this look for #31dc2016 Black and White. I created these beautiful watercolour flowers with a black Crayola marker borrowed from my kids and spread with rubbing alcohol and a nail art brush. Once dry, I used a fine sharpie to add the outlines. Once matte, Voilà! My Boyfriend Scales Walls was my base.

This was so quick and cool, I'll be trying again with other colours and patterns.

31 Day. Day 6, Violet. RWT Mys Violet

For today's #31dc2016 it's Violet day. I had this great unposted look I created a while back. I used a base of Ruby White Tips Mys Violet and created the Zebra print with a nail art pen. I've never used these much, so it was a fun exercise.

With the name of this polish, it was the perfect post for today!

31 Day. Day 5, Blue

Today's Blue look for #31dc2016 was fun and I wore it awhile on both hands. I used Barielle Swizzle Stix and a navy I can't remember for my base polishes and used white polish to distress the teal nails. I then stamped an image from Bundle Monster BM-606 in the navy and a silver polish on the darker fingers for a pop.

31 Day. Day 4, Green. Review BP-X02

I created this crazy graffiti look with another Born Pretty Store plate BP-X02 linked here, that I was sent for review. I loved this plate and can't wait to use it again. I used Ruby White Tips Blue Realm and an unnamed neon green for base. The rest of the distressing is acrylic paint. I then alternated stamping and reverse stamping the symbols. The plate has some great Asian style patterns that were really pretty.

31 Day. Day 3, Yellow. Review, BP-X04

Today is #31dc2016 Yellow! I used BP-X04 that I was just sent for review to create this fruit salad!! The plate is pretty awesome with some candy and fruit images. It's worth a look and linked here. I used Rimmel Sunny Days for the base and OPI Shop 'Til Sunset as well acrylic paints to create my advance stamp fruits and dots.

31 Day. Day 2, Orange

Today's #30dc2016 look prompt is Orange. I used OPI Shop 'Til Sunset for my base and stamped one of the awesome tribal images from BP-X05 in white. I then used acrylic paint in pink to fill some of the lines. 

Simple, but cute. Kinda wish I could have worn this awhile. Oh, and my trade secret for getting through the challenge is doing two designs on two hands!!! That, and using up any old unposted looks I had shelved.

31 Day. Day 1, Red

So, today it begins! #31DC2016!

The 31 Day Nail Challenge happens every September and all the information is available over at Chalkboard Nails liked here. I've personally participated twice,  and if I make it to the halfway point this year, I'm planning to recap my past experiences. My first look is some double stamping on Spring to Life from Laquerlicious. 

I used BM-XL01 for the dots and BP-L013 for the Stars.
