Digital Dozen Does Black, Day 2.
I've been wanting to do another blobbicure for a while and used Digital Dozen Does Black Day 2 as an excuse. I stamped swirls in silver and mattified the blob fingers, which gave the whole look a distinctly octopus look! A little strange, but I liked it.
Hope you like this weird one! Don't forget to check out the links of my girls below!!

Digital Dozen Does Colour Contrast, Thursday
In case you're wondering why I'm jumping in mid week for Digital Dozen Does Colour Contrast week, it's because I started a new job on Monday, and have been growing out and healing a severe break/cut on my ring finger.
Today's look is a bit of a cheat using black as my contrast on this purple Gelaze Spontaneous. This was a conscious decision though, because there's nothing I like to wear more than a crisp black or white on a more subtle colour. For the look, I did two coats of the purple gel and added a black French gel tip. Once cured, I stamped in regular black polish and sealed in gel top coat.
I liked this look, and actually received a ton of compliments considering it wasn't overly complicated. Don't forget to check out the looks the girls have been working on in the Inlinkz below.

Graveyard Bestie Twins
This look was inspired by the Graveyard prompt for #clairestelle8 Halloween Challenge. I did these as Bestie Twinsie's with my good friend Elena from over at Nail Experiments linked here, and here.
For my base I used Picture Polish Imperial and the rest was created in acrylic paints. The image is all freehand, but I did start my Haunted House with a stamp image from Bundle Monster BM-305 and then added details to it in black and orange
This look was a lot of fun to create, and I always love holiday nails!

31 Day. Day 13, Animal Print. Digital Dozen 4!
Today is animal print for #31dc2016 as well as day two of Digital Dozen 4 week. I went with techniques again for my 4 cue. I chose dotting, stamping, gradients and animal prints itself as my 4! I used Essie Full Steam Ahead and Don't Rock the Boat for my base. I used Nicole By OPI Khloe Had a Lamb Lamb for everything else!
I loved this, and could wear it a loooong time. I did just realize, that the bottle I'm using in the photo is not actually the purple I used in the mani! Ha!

31 Day. Day 12, Stripes. Digital Dozen 4!
I loved this soft pastel blues and purples look I created for #31dc2016 Stripes day. I used Essie Full Steam Ahead and Don't Rock the Boat as base. I then used this unknown purple for the dotting and gradient. I used Nabi Sky for my stripe stamping.
On a very special note, this look also hits all the right cues for this weeks Digital Dozen does 4 week! Why 4? It's the Digital Dozens 4th anniversary this year. Today's 'four,' was four techniques. I used dotting, gradients, stamping and glitter placement!!
The stamping over glitter was a bit wonkie, but otherwise I loved this! Congratulations to all my fellow members on the monumentus anniversary!

Digital Dozen Does Negative Space, Day 1
Oh Negative Space! I'm kinda terrible at Negative Space manicures, but I decided to dive right in to Digital Dozen Does Negative Space Week with a traditional taped of look. I used some triangle vinyls to create the gaps, and dotted in the corresponding colours in the negative areas.
-Sinful Colors Endless Blue
-Orly Lollipop
A pretty basic look to achieve, but Blech on so many levels! Oh well, tomorrow is much better. I'm decent at gradient French tips. Maybe I'll just stick with that!!

Purple Fab With Decal
More playing around today with my Clear Jelly Stamper from Born Pretty Store. I used two coats of Pop Art Purple from Finger Paints for the base of this and it's still one of my favorite bright almost neon purples. I then used Essie Penny Talk and Konad White to create a gradient stamped floral using Bundle Monster BM-S104. I then used China Glaze Mind The Gap and BM-616 to create this starburst decal for the upper corner of my middle finger.
Hope everyone is well! It's starting to feel a bit more spring like here in Canada, so I have lots more brights and pastels coming up. The presence of actual sunshine always makes me start to add more fun colours back into my wardrobe and makeup routine.

Digital Dozen Does Nail Heroes, Friday
So lately I've been crazy for watching videos and creeping IG accounts for stamping product brands. Most of them post the best uses of their product and some like Moyou for example post stuff from an in-house artist. I really love whoever does the in-house stuff for Moyou especially. I love the layered looks and the couloirs they choose. Even plates I would never buy look just amazing in the samples!
I used a new plate for the image from Moyou London Holy Shapes Collection-02.

Digital Dozen Does Nail Heroes, Monday
Starting off the week with something very special...well for someone very special! Us girls over in the Digital Dozen really wanted to reach out and hug our Queen. Debbie aka The Crumpet inspired this look with her recent Bright Snakeskin look posted for Digital Dozen over on The Crumpet linked here.
I consider Debbie a friend and she's just such a great gal. She has made a hug impact on the entire nail community and started many of the groups and traditions we all are a part of. So cheers to Debbie!
For my version of her bright snakeskin I used:
Pure Ice No Means No
H&M Deep Orchid
Quo by Orly Night Sky
Konad Black and White
China Glaze Go Crazy Red
For my version I used a dark and shimmery pallet and then realized I didn't have a proper snakeskin stamp. I grabbed for this Bundle Monster abstract diamond image, which was slightly 'snakey' and I decided for some reason to go with a black, white and red gradient stamp look over top. So in the end, I'm going to say these are much less bright snakeskin and much more fuzzy knitted sweater...or something!
Totally not the look I was trying to emulate, but I LOVE IT just the same!

Digital Dozen Does Autumn, Sunflowers And Holo!
Sunflowers always make me think autumn, so this was actually the first post I prepped for the week. I was inspired by someone, but I forgot to write it down...which is unlike me and irritating. I think it was Wondrously Polished. So cheers to whomever came up with Sunflowers similar to these. Anyway, the floral nails are a base of NYX Fierce Purple and that fab holo is from Femme Fatale.
I liked this one, cute and wearable with just an ounce of holo to punch it up!

POP goes the finger tattoos!
Today I have a gorgeous look I whipped up over Picture Polish Imperial. I stamped this fab leaves image from Bundle Monster over two easy coats of Imperial in Konad White. Then I dotted on the teal flower petals and outlined in black acrylic. I only added a few flowers for the POP of color, but I just loved the look. I also matted the whole thing.
Next I added these super cool Gold Flash Water Slide Tattoos from Lady Queen Beauty shop linked here. These things are amazingly fun and easy to work with. Just like any water applied tattoo you've ever tried, but with a metallic twist. I cant wait to use these more! as you can see the image is large, and can be used in many ways, and many separate uses, if you just cut out the portions you want! I also have a discount code of ELLC15 for you guys to use.
I used the alternating teal and gold pattern across my knuckles. These lasted a few days even though they were on my hands. When I was ready, a good scrub with water and soap removed them easily.
What do you think? Wild and fun!! Their selection of images for these tattoos is very fun and totally worth a browse. Don't forget Lady Queen gave me that 15% discount for you to use as well ELLC15 .

KBShimmer, Witch Way and Bundle Monster Stamping
Today's look is a simple one, but a stunner due to KBShimmer Witch Way. This amazing purple crelly/jelly glitter is really rich and and intense. This is just one coat over Fierce Purple from NYX. The Stamping is Bundle Monster BM-604 with Konad White and I dotted in a touch of pink for a little something extra.
For a glitter packed doozie, this polish was really excellent to work with.

Lilo and Stitch Nail Art
So I adore this final look, it's just so cute! However...it was just one of those stamping days that just seems destined to be a fail! I was advanced stamping for this one which is new to me. I decided to try advanced stamping with acrylic paint as the colour for fill. It does work for those of you wondering, but I didn't know it wasn't dry yet underneath and smeared it a bit. I was however able to fill in the designs by hand, but then of course it also smeared a weensie bit with the matte coat as well. All in all though, still cute. This guy is for today's Crumpets prompt of Navy or Scales, and I've wanted to do Stich forever!!! As for Stitch, he's all acrylic paint as well.

Essie Full Steam Ahead and Nail Stamping
This lovely whimsical design is the kind I could personally wear daily. If I weren't a blogger trying new things all the time I would wear all things girls and pretty all the time. The base for this one is two coats of Full Steam Ahead from Essie topped with Pure Ice Heartbreaker and stamped with Nabi Sky in a scrollwork design. I matted the whole thing and love the green shimmers through below my stamping.
Just whispy and beautiful...and auto correct just corrected that to whisky! Apparently Blogger is a drunk! Ha!

Ruby White Tips, Bed of Nails Swatch
Today I have a treat for you. A squishy jelly-licious shard-tad tic polish called Bed of Nails from Ruby White tips linked here. This polish is easily my favourite ever RWT, and as you guys know I've got quite a few of those. It was like butter in formula even though it was so shard intense, and these particular shards were delicate and fire rainbows. Just amazing. This is two coats with topcoat.
This is the first of a few soon to be released polishes from RWT, and I have a few more to come!
Cheers all,
