Digital Dozen Getting To Know Me, Hot Pink Nail Stamping

Today's look for Digital Dozen Does Getting To Know Me week is a hot pink double stamp. I used an unnamed hot pink from Color Club for my pink base, and I also tried it out for stamping. It stamped well, but look how different the colour is on a white base. My white is Sally Hansen lll and the images are lll and lll.

For today's getting to know me points, I thought I'd share my hobbies. I love swimming and watching movies...a lot of movies! I try and work out very regularly too, because I also love to eat!

I matted this one and just love love loved it!

Neon Roses Nail Art

I created this look over the weekend because I've been aching for some more neon. Winter is dragging, and neons always feel like summer. This look was one I saved to recreate ages ago from @deanne29 on Instagram. I was going to link the account, but it appears she's stopped posting.

My bases and flowers were an unnamed Neon Green from Color Club and Choco-Latte from Sally Hansen. The black details are all acrylic paint.

I straight up loved everything about this, and I'm totally doing it again soon!

Digital Dozen Does Black, Day 1.

First look for Digital Dozen Does Black week is this animal print skittles look. I haven't done animal print in ages, so I snuck in a little colour as accent and created this look. I kept my black mmm from Sally Hansen as my main colour, but the neon pink is from Color Club and  the blue is China Glaze Frostbite.

I finished the freehand dots and leopard spots in acrylic paint. I also used a small rhinestone stud on my middle finger for a little more dimension.

I

I really enjoyed wearing this look and wore it on both hands for almost a week.

31 Day. Day 17, Glitter

Not my favourite look of the challenge so far. I was going to redo it if I had the time, but ran short. A simple dotted look over a glitter tip. The glitter is Glisten Here from Finger Paints and the purple base an unknown Color Club. The dots are acrylic paint in a white and turquoise.

That's all for now. Hope your fingers are all a-glitter today!

Another stamping plate review for Born Pretty Store stamping plates. This image is from plate BP-X01 and I loved the images on this plate! For my design, I created a gradient using Color Club Neon  Green and Sally Hansen Mousseline. My stamping polish is China Glaze Liquid Leather.

I loved the Brocade feel to this manicure, and the plate is from  Born Pretty Store linked here. If you check it out, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!

Digital Dozen Does Negative Space, Day 2

Ok, I'm warming up now and actually enjoyed this negative space look. The holo gradient was Color Club Cloud Nine, and I stamped using BM-S104. A coat of Seche and that's it!

Easy Peasy and a little bit glam!

Advanced Nail Stamping, Nail Decal

I've been wanting to work on decals again lately, so I got to work yesterday and came up with this layered look. I used BPL-026 for the base stamping on a base of a hot fuchsia from Color Club and the Cynthia Rowley is also unnamed.
Don't you hate when there is no name on polish? Sorry guys!

I created my decals right on the stampers this time and filled them and let them dry. Once dry I cut each Mandala in half and placed them on the gold based nails. I used an image from Moyou Doodles -01.

As an FYI, I discovered recently you can used Seche for decal creation, but must lift the decal and use between 8-10 minutes dry time or it will over dry. I had read a few times that quick dry won't work, so I've been testing since Seche is all I buy.

Below is the look before I added the decals. I really liked it this way, so I grabbed a picture in case I ran into decal trouble.

This is also what it looked like before matte coat. I really liked it this way as well.

Happy Thursday everyone. Hope everyone is having a great summer.

Digital Dozen Does Fashion, Day 3

The design was inspired by these fantastic made to order leather goods on Etsy linked here. I really fell in love with the keychains when I was cruising Etsy looking at custom clothing. I know they aren't fashion specifically, but lately I've been personally into accessorizing outfits and feel a simple look can be transformed by it. I used plate BP-71 available linked here from Born Pretty another great plate I was sent.

For the nails I used neon orange from Color Club and distressed the center with white and a gold shimmer polish. I stamped the little lovebirds in Revlon Espresso. I had 'fumbly hand' the day I did this, so it's my fault where the image transfer isn't perfect. I loved the final though, so I kept it.

Once again, the plate is from Born Pretty Store linked here. If you do check it out, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!

Spiral Stamp, Bundle Monster

What I wore last weekend was this cute mix and match spiral stamping look. The accent finger is Ruby White Tips Addicted and the pink is an unlabelled pink neon. I stamped using Bundle Monster BM-XL01 and added some acrylic paint dots to finish it off.

I'm so glad it's spring and time to brighten up. Spring cleaning has been happening around my place too, all those jobs you put off and tackle in the spring!

Red HOT HOT HOT, Valentines Nail Art

Zow! Right? This red hot look was actually a Christmas creation I never posted and am now recycling as a Valentines look. This was just a quick and bold layered look to wear for a Christmas party, but I loved the combo. I now dub thee Red Hot Valentines! The pictures don't do the flakie any justice, but in person this Color Club Snow-Flakes over Essie Trombone was molten lava.

Oh, side topic...can't wait for the next edition of the Digital Dozen, as I've been working on some really special looks for you guys.

Neon Mandala's

One of those posts that sits in your drafts until you look again and remember how awesome the look was! This one was a neon Mendal stamping decal I made. I used a mix of a bunch of colour club neons for the different layers in the Mendala and the same colours for the dots. I really liked this one...even after my stamp smeared. Grrrrrrr.

Even smeared, still not bad for one of my first few stamping decals.

It's My Birthday!

It was my birthday and two year blogiversary yesterday! I picked something completely fabulous to wear for my birth-week! I couldn't decide, but knew I wanted something bright and high contrast and found this look in my genius file by Wondrously Polished. Lindsey did this look a while back and I've saved it ever since because it's such a happy look. I used an unnamed Orange neon for my base and royal blue, black and white acrylic paint for the rest. The outlines were done with my details brush, but the rest of the dots and shapes of the flowers were created with dotting tools.

Now something fun to show you in honour of my blogiversary, below are the images I used for my first blog post and Facebook page. I created the super complex stamping look, and just look at the pics and poses!

What a hoot! Really love that pinkie though!

Lady Queen Review, OMD Day 5

Today I have the second review for stamping plates I was sent from Lady Queen and I have a 15% discount for you to use as well ELLC15 . These hehe plates are new to me, although I have been seeing them around. Today's look was created on a Color Club neon green. The trippy vortex pattern was stamped in Maddening Whispers from Femme Fatale, and the image is from the hh-003 plate I previously tried. The skulls are Konad White decals that I filled with Konad Black and are from the hehe-046 plate linked here. As with the first plate I reviewed, the second plate also gave me no issues when stamping. This look I created hoping it would suit the Colourful prompt for Day 5 of OMD3.

My pinkie finger doesn't do the sideways skulls any justice, but they looked really cool in person, and I should have thought to photograph my thumb for you guys.

Here is the full image on the plate, and I can't wait to try the webs and the drippy web like image at the bottom most of all.

I would still highly recommend these plates and they are a great value as well. Their selection of images is very modern and fun and totally worth a browse. Don't forget Lady Queen gave me that 15% discount for you to use as well ELLC15 .

Digital Dozen, Geometric Week. Day 3/5

Another combo look coming at you for today's day three Geometric for The Digital Dozen. I chose four geometric stamping images from Moyou Artist Plate 15, and stamped in Konad white...with my new Creative Stamper! Side note, that thing really is a dream! My base for this is Twiggie from Color Club and the dots are acrylic paint. The whole thing is matte this time.

For some reason this reminded me of a circuit board. Don't forget to check my girls hard work today in the inlinkz below.
