Born Pretty Stamping Product Review
Born Pretty Store linked here recently sent me some Stamping items for review. As I've never tried their stamping polish before, I thought I'd create two looks on two polish backgrounds so we can check it out.
I was sent #37 polish in a cool shimmery green and for the first look I used dream catcher inspired Plate BP-L100. I stamped in black and the green on baby pink. The Born Pretty stamping polish stamped beautifully, although in the photos appears more silver than green. It was crisp and picked up very well.
I then created this second look on blue with images from both plates BP-L100 and BP-192 that I was sent. The rest of plate BP-192 is super cute Reindeer images that I'll be using next Christmas. For this tribal, new 'age-y' look I only used the stag.
The stag was too wide at the antlers for my finger, but easily shrunk by squishing the stamper head during application. I loved the gems from BP-L100 and want to do another look of filling them in with gem tone glitter polishes!
All in all, the three stamping products from Born Pretty Store linked here performed perfectly.

Born Pretty Store, Stamping Plates BP-144 and BP-127
Today's looks were created using plates BP-144 and BP-127 I was sent for review from
Born Pretty Store. For my cherries BP-144 look I used two coats of Pipe Dream Polish Red Light and stamped my cherries before filling them via the leadlight technique.
For my Bows look I used Picture Polish Imperial in two coats and stamped the bow shoes and little stars from BP-127. I filled the images via the leadlight as well and added some dotting.
I loved both of these looks and the stamping plates were both filled with great images and were greatly etched. If you'd like to try out these plates, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!

Born Pretty Store, Nail Plate Review BP-111
Today's look is another review from Born Pretty Store and the plate BP-111 is linked here.
The plate is a full plate of pattern images, and I chose this soft wave pattern in white. I used Revlon Blue Lagoon for my base and BP-73 for my reverse stamping flower.
This look was so pretty in person, and I can't wait to try the geometric patterns from the plate as well. If you decide to check out this plate or any others, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!

Digital Dozen Does Rain Forest, Tiger Nail Art
Today's look is another fun twinsie look inspired by some stamping by @cedriscnails on Instaram with fellow Digital Dozen girl extraordinaire Sarah from +25 Sweetpeas. I created this fun rain forest setting with stamping leaves from BPL-026 and the tiger peaking out from BM-613. Sarah then recreated hers freehand. It was really cool to see it both ways! I'd like tot do it again sometime, with me the one challenged to freehand! My base polish for this was two coats of Gorgeous from Sinful Colors.
Doesn't he look hungry? Don't forget to follow some links below and see what's up for day four!

Digital Dozen Getting To Know Me, Hot Pink Nail Stamping
Today's look for Digital Dozen Does Getting To Know Me week is a hot pink double stamp. I used an unnamed hot pink from Color Club for my pink base, and I also tried it out for stamping. It stamped well, but look how different the colour is on a white base. My white is Sally Hansen lll and the images are lll and lll.
For today's getting to know me points, I thought I'd share my hobbies. I love swimming and watching movies...a lot of movies! I try and work out very regularly too, because I also love to eat!

I matted this one and just love love loved it!

Digital Dozen Does Birthday's...Literally!
So today's Digital Dozen Does Birthday's post is a special one. It's a sneaky surprise too! We told
Amber from Nails Like Lace - http://www.nailslikelace.com that we were planning a regular old birthday post and even chose an image. The reality is we are sharing in the excitement of Amber's new baby girl, and all created baby girl inspired images! Congratulations Amber and SURPRISE!
Today's looks inspiration was the nursery. I loved decorating our boys nursery, and this was my chance to design for a little girl! I always thought if I had a girl I wanted to to pink and chevron's in the room. I've also always pictured butterflies as an accent.
My boys nursery was beige and baby blue with white chair rail and airplane accents. My pink butterflies are stamped from BP-74 and I used an almost neon teal and black acrylic paints to add details.
I wanted to show you this as well, my new hobby. I got a Cricut machine and have been creating wall vinyl's, mugs and decals for all sorts of notebooks and items for myself and the kids. Anyway, the mug kind of matched my mani so I wanted to share.

Valentine's Nail Art
I almost forgot to get this post up with it being DD week. I created this fun valentines double stamp using an unnamed wine from Essie for the chevron on an unnamed hot pink from Color Club. My heart images are Sally Hansen Black Out. Once matte, this was so cute and I wore it to dust!
Weather you have a sweetheart or not, Have a great Valentines!

Digital Dozen Does Decades, Monday
Today is day one of the Digital Dozen Does Decades week. I wasn't sure how to approach this prompt, so I started with a manicure to represent time in general. Once I finished, I kicked myself for not thinking of this look for New Years Eve as it totally has a New Years feel. My base is Greige Gardens from Sally Hansen stamped with black and Essie Penny Talk.
I loved how the little golden clocks looked over the black geometric! Check out all the awesome looks the other girls dreamed up below! I can't wait to show you the other posts for this week...mostly because they are hilarious)

Digital Dozen Does Decades, Tuesday
I picked 70's for my second decade in Digital Dozen Does Decades week. I was born is '79 and the colour palettes and f the 70's were so hideous in my opinion, that I immediately wanted to come up with a crazy '70's look. My base is the sea foam coloured On Stranger Tides from OPI. I stamped orange dots with OPI Shop Til Sunset and then added the trippy flowers and peace sign using Revlon Espresso. As an afterthought, I dotted with acrylic paint in a tomato shade at the end to really capture the tacky feel I was going for.
This one was so much fun to play with. Tacky on purpose was kinda satisfying!

Digital Dozen Does Colour Contrast, Friday.
So, I was looking for inspiration for this look for Digital Dozen week and happened to watch Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas linked here with my kids on Wednesday night. We start Christmas Specials in November! We were watching a segment that stars Minnie and Daisy as competitors in a figure skating competition. They were wearing colours that totally reminded me of Lottie Dottie from KBShimmer, and this look was born. I used two coats of the polish for my insta-contrast in a bottle and then added double line stamping stripes to represent the ribbons the characters twirl in the competition.
Weird inspiration I know, but a glitter cruelly was perfect for this week...once I thought of it. As an FYI, the Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas is amazing! I have some more colour contrast looks coming up soon on nail tips as I kept up my freehand practice for fun while I was growing out my ring finger.

Digital Dozen Does Birthday's, Unicorn Wood
So today's look is another Digital Dozen Does Birthday's post. This is where a member of the group that's having a birthday chooses an image and we have a giant Twinsie post! This month we celebrate the birthday of the fabulous Amber Hess of Nails Like Lace linked here.
Amber chose the image below of this magical looking wood we ended up calling 'Unicorn Wood.' (Yes, this did lead to some interesting jokes in our group!)
Even though I'm taking a bit of a break to grow out a painful break, I had to jump in to celebrate Amber. I used a base of Nails Inc Mayfair Lane and sponged on purple, blue and dark pink Squeeze Pigments from YH Beja that I reviewed a million years ago. I then stamped with a mixed pickup of white and blue polish using the wood grain image from BM-608.
I loved this, and tried to get photos. The tiny pink glitters from China Glaze You're Too Sweet. The micro glitters decided to really freak out my camera! Oh well, still super cool in person.
Happy Birthday Amber!

Oct 15 Clairestelle8 Skulls.
Today's look is for #clairestelle8halloween and the prompt Skulls. I wanted to go a little off the rails with the colours I chose, and I went with some blues. I Used a base of OPI Sky's The Limit and stamped a rose pattern from BM-618 over top in Nabi Sky. I then added the skulls from Hehe-046 in white and used parts of a tribal design to add just portions of lines.
Once dry, I added black acrylic dots into the eye wholes of each skull to make them feel a little darker. What do you think of my off the wall skulls on roses design?

31 Day. Day 24, Inspired by a Book
This look is for the prompt Inspired by a book. I chose the book series Scaredy Squirrel. These are Canadian children's books and the main character is super cute. If you want to check out the series, it's linked here.
The base on this is Twiggie from Color Club and the leaves stamping is an image from BM-S026.
I freehanded the acorns and my little squirrel.
Hope you like this one, it's one of my faves!

31 Day. Day 30, Inspired by a Tutorial
I recreated this look from a video tutorial from Weeklystamping on Instagram. For some reason I don't like mine as much as the original, but it's still cute. I used a base of Ruby White Tips Mon Cher as my base and stamped on a fake water marbl from BM-320. I then filled and reverse stamped the flowers one per finger using SE18.
Ok folks we are almost through the challenge! Phew! I realize now I missed posting my book prompt, so that ones coming today as well!

31 Day. Day 20, Water Marble
This look is what I came up with.
I used Sally Hansen White Out as base, and the swirled my two blues on the sponge to create a marbled gradient. I wish I had added some erratic lines to make this more like a marble look.

I double stamped water drops on my gradient to represent water, and there you have it! Water...and Marble...sort of.
I hope you like my cheat as it was that or skip the prompt all together!

31 Day. Day 18, Half Moon
Today I did a reverse half moon for #31dc2016. I stamped the scroll image from BP-X01 in black on my base and used my mat to create the stamped half moons for my tips. Once applied, it still needed something so I added the dotting as a break point for the two designs. The decal image was also created with BP-X01.
I liked this one, and the half moon tips was a fun take on the classic.

31 Day. Day 15, Delicate
The theme for today's #31dc2016 is delicate, and I thought of these China Doll images. This one also hits today's Digital Dozen does '4' with four polishes used. I used Julep Toni and Orly Frosting for my base. I then used Go Crazy Red from China Glaze and Liquid Leather for the distressing. I created my little ladies on the stamper and reverse stamped them. I used images from BM-617 for the ladies and the floral.
