POP goes the finger tattoos!
Today I have a gorgeous look I whipped up over Picture Polish Imperial. I stamped this fab leaves image from Bundle Monster over two easy coats of Imperial in Konad White. Then I dotted on the teal flower petals and outlined in black acrylic. I only added a few flowers for the POP of color, but I just loved the look. I also matted the whole thing.
Next I added these super cool Gold Flash Water Slide Tattoos from Lady Queen Beauty shop linked here. These things are amazingly fun and easy to work with. Just like any water applied tattoo you've ever tried, but with a metallic twist. I cant wait to use these more! as you can see the image is large, and can be used in many ways, and many separate uses, if you just cut out the portions you want! I also have a discount code of ELLC15 for you guys to use.
I used the alternating teal and gold pattern across my knuckles. These lasted a few days even though they were on my hands. When I was ready, a good scrub with water and soap removed them easily.
What do you think? Wild and fun!! Their selection of images for these tattoos is very fun and totally worth a browse. Don't forget Lady Queen gave me that 15% discount for you to use as well ELLC15 .

Picture Polish, Imperial
Today I have a new polish I picked up...and my first ever Picture Polish! Imperial! I've used a friends a few times, but this is my first ever Picture Polish in my stash. As always, not disappointed! Formula was perfect. This is two easy coats. Isn't this just beautiful? The Swatchaholic did an amazing job.
This last shot is a stamp I wanted to try out. The quilted looking image looked really nice, but then I smeared it with my topcoat...(ran out of Seche) so I'm just parking this here. In person, still really cool.

OMD2, 8. Shimmer
These started with two coats of the amazing and lovely Picture Polish Electric Dream, an almost hot pink with a golden shimmer. This ones a beauty, and it was actually a shame to put anything on top...but it is challenge time so here we go. For the chevron design I used a new product from Green Goddess Creations linked here. These are called Nail Masques. They are similar to vinyls, but a bit easier, as they are all one piece. You really need to check them out. As my second shimmer shade I used China Glaze Rendezvous With You, a pretty purple black shimmer. I really need to use this one more.
I used the Nail Masks to create the full chevron, and the bits left on the backing sheet for my tip nails. Reuse Recycle!

OMD2, 4. Bright
So here is my post for the prompt bright. I'm calling these 'Fire Lotus' nail art...yup, I'll pretend these were planned for! After two coats of my base colour Picture Polish Tango, I kinda decided this colour was not bright enough for the prompt bright. I headed for my stash and came back with China Glaze Orange Knockout and NYC Lexington Yellow and the 'fire lotus' was born! This was all accomplished with my smallest detail brush and finished off with a little acrylic paint in black to pop the details. Once I chose my colours, I was kind of inspired by a previous look I did a long while back. I'll include that look for you below.
I'm really happy with the final look, although...with more time I would redo my pinkie. Just not as smooth looking as the rest. The picture below was taken out by a pool. I was hoping to get the neon orange to play fair...it helped a bit!

This last is the look I was inspired to recreate, and the post is linked here.

Picture Polish Serenity Swatch
This is Picture Polish Serenity. Now I love me some teal, so a polish like this is right up my alley. A a nice opaque frosty teal polish with lilac purple square glitters mixed in. The formula was easy and this is two coats. This was great with the art over it yesterday, but so lovely on its own. I wore this a couple days before adding that art.
This is only my second Picture Polish and I really did love it! This last picture my five year old son asked to help me with my pictures...and it kind of suits Serenity don't you think?

Picture Polish Zebra Nail Art
These are my attempt at monochromatic zebra nails. I loved this Picture Polish Serenity and wanted a way to play it up with a little simple freehand. The three colours used for the design were acrylic followed by quick dry topper. These couldn't have been quicker or simpler to achieve.I've been wanting to practice my zebra stripes and this turned out well I think!
This was two easy coats of Serenity, and I have a full swatch post for you guys on this one prepped and ready to go soon.
