31 Day. Day 19, Galaxies

I've always wanted to attempt a neon or pastel galaxy, so #31dc2016 Galaxy day was the perfect opportunity.

I used Sally Hansen White Out as base and neon acrylics for the background. I then added Femme Fatale Mirror Mirror on the Wall for some twinkle and added my planets and constellations!

Anyone see the dipper in there?

Cheers all,

Digital Dozen Does Birthdays! July

We had a new idea to spice things up around Digital Dozen headquarters. We want to celebrate months we have member birthdays, with a mani inspired by the birthday girl/girls. The girls choose an inspiration, and we all create a manicure from it. RoseLyne from Manicured and Marvelous linked here celebrates in July, and chose this crazy image linked here.

I ended up naming the final look Graffiti Galaxy in my head, and used the following:
- Unnamed Color Club Neon Orange
-Neon Acrylic Paints
-Two images from VL-019
-Matte Polish

Pretty fun look for our first birthday celebration! Check out my girls versions in the Inlinkz below.

Cheers all,

OMD2, 17. Galaxy

Did I ever mention I don't really like galaxy...probably cause I suck at it. I thought I had it solved with this amazing polish...

KBShimmer Strung Out. It's basically a galaxy in a bottle, and a good one. I should have just stopped there and cheated. This is just one coat over black!

Here is a macro, just look how galaxy this is, and its just one coat over black like I said!

Anyway, then I added some shimmers for galaxy whirls and a spaceship that looks like  tin can...then I gave the tin can some fire that kind of looks like barf!

Now that we've all had a great laugh at this epic nonsense, I can't wait for tomorrow's dotticure prompt. I'm pretty good at those!

Cheers all,

Galaxy Pie Swap

This is a swap I did with +Beltane Secret on IG, her account is linked here.
She also chose to do the ever popular neon and polka dots first inspired by @allnailseverything.

These were simple and kind of edgy. I wish I'd taped the triangle lines, but I was trying to force myself t practice my freehand straight lines. Instead of crisp these are only alright, but I really liked the look...at arms length! This is two coats of My Boyfriend Scales Walls. The Black is China Glaze Liquid Leather. The details are a mix of silver and blue glitters and polishes. I used a tiny dotting tool and detail brush for the details.

In case your wondering about the upside down position, its the one Beltane used and I thought Id give it a whirl too. As a side note, I've been having a ton of fun with all these swaps. If anyone reading this would like to swap with me, please contact me.

Cheers all,
