Digital Dozen Does Rain Forests, Lizard Nails
Today's look is a super cute freehand twinsie/bestie with Cheyenne from @cdbnails143 on Instagram and fellow Digital Dozen member. The look was lightly inspired by a lizard look from Robin Moses a while back.We traded two looks for the week and this is the first! All the tropical plants and my lizard are acrylic pain on two coats of Crash from Indie Polish. Once dry, I matted this one as well to show off the details better.
Don't forget to follow the links below to see Cheyenne's amazing version in her post, as well as the day 2 looks from the other girls. I can't wait to show you the second look from Cheyenne and myself as it might be some of the cutest nail art ever!

Digital Dozen Does Black, Day 3.
This look is actually a recreation of one I did of a deer on black polish last year linked here. I decided to zoom in on the deer's head, but ended up having some difficulty with the antlers. Overall I'm happy with the look, and I created it using acrylic White on Ruby White Tips Addicted and mattified.
Love winter looks like these, but I hope we are getting closer to spring! Don't forget my girls in the links below.

Pumpkins for #clairestelle8halloween. My Indie Polish, The GreatPumpkin.
These were my Pumpkin nails for #clairestelle8halloween on a great polish I had to pick up recently from My Indie Polish. My leaves and pumpkin design were all acrylic paint.
On to the polish, this is two coats of the best thermal ever! This creamy off white/orange shimmer is amazing. Totally great formula and packed with shimmer. I couldn't get over th colour combo when I saw it go on pre-order and had to have it.
I wasn't disappointed and love this polish.

Spiders
This look was inspired by the Spiders prompt for #clairestelle8 Halloween Challenge. I'm a few days behind, but we've had two flu-ish kids here all week. I created the background with a base of Indie Polish Zip with orange acrylic paint wavy lines on top and watered down some black paint and added that on top. I stamped my webs and spiders from BM-H07 and sealed.
All done! A total mess to clean, but cute!

Tropical Dots, Summer Manicure
Still trying to beat the heat here in Ontario Canada. I'm not sure if everyone else is as well, but we've been well into the 30's for weeks. Our summers are usually more temperate, but I'm not complaining. We've just been swimming more!
This look was inspired by the heat! I used My Indie Polish Zip and Zap for this. They were from last years summer release and compliment each other well. I started with the orange as base and then created the gradient. Then I stamped the tropical flowers from BM-XL108 and also added the dots with Color Club Gift Of Sparkle.
I tried something new with my dots by doing them in a circular pattern instead of straight lines. This technique just looked slightly drunk in the end. Oh well!
Cheers all, and stay cool!

Digital Dozen Does Fashion, Day 2
I wanted to do something a little different today, so I chose to recreate some lingerie fashion. The look is a recreation of this bra from Victoria Secrets linked here. I was feeling stumped for inspiration, but one of those brand emails inspired me to check out the latest in lingerie. The base polish on this is Bam from My Indie Polish. One of my favourite shades from last summer. I used one coat to keep it sheer then taped off and stamped just the tips with BM-612 to try and match the lace look of the bra. I chose this bra because of the mix of the sporty stripes, pink and girlie lace. I found it so different. I would totally wear this. For the striping I used a long striping brush and acrylic paints.

Digital Dozen Does Gradient Day Five, Greenient
So today I wanted a springtime look with some plant inspired stamping. I recently purchased the loose plate BM-S206 from Bundle Monster and I stamped this combo of images from it on a wild and wonderful combo of Crash from My Indie Polish and this amazing green/shimmer from Color Club on the tips. I know, another French tip gradient for 3/5 this week, but I couldn't help it. I loved the look...and if I'm honest it's quicker to clean up too!
So, hope everyone enjoyed gradient week. Check out the girls final looks below and enjoy your weekend!

Digital Dozen Does Gradients, Day Two, Mrs. P's Nail Potions Fishnet Nail Art
Today's look is a french gradient look. French really isn't something I ever do, so I thought I'd switch it up! I actually ended up trying this look twice this week along with something else kind of new. More on that soon. For this look I used the incredible Mrs. P's Nail Potions Prism Cell as the base and then created the gradient with Indie Polish Zap! I then double stamped with Bundle Monster BM-314 and Bundle Monster BM-315.
I found the final fishnet look kind of sassy/bridal?? I don't know, but I loved it!

Stained Glass Daisies
Today's look is another stamping decal practice session I sat down for, actually reverse stamping. The base on this is Indie Polish Crash and the images are from BM-XL01 and BM-618 from Bundle Monster using Essie Penny Talk and Revlon Midnight Affair. I loved the stained glass look this ended up having and the depth once I matted it.
Thanks for stopping by, I'm currently working on an awesome freehand look since it's been a while and my first Instagram tutorial video...fingers crossed!

Born Pretty, Stamper and Pallet Ring Review
I was recently sent some nail art goodies from Born Pretty Store linked here for review. In this post I have the Pallet Ring linked here and the Double Ended Marshmallow Stamper linked here. I decided to use my silicone mat to work on my decal making skills. For my colours I used Bam, Zip and Zap from Indie Polish. These great neons had th pop I was looking for in the stamping decal.
I used the ring for filling my decal stripes, and it really was easier having the polish close to your work instead of in a margarine lid farther away. because this is a ring, there is also no worry you will fumble and drop it.
Here are the decals all filled and drying on my mat before application.
I used Bundle Monster plate BM-... for my images here and wanted to show you how great the pick-up was on both ends of the stamper. The first image is the large head and the second is the small. The small was still big enough for a full nail image.
Here's the look! I'm very happy with this awesome neon stripe! Decal's are going to take some practice, but this one is fun and I didn't wreck any during the process either!
The Born Pretty Marshmallow stamper needed some buffing with a smooth sided nail block, but afterwards was amazing to work with. The ring was imensly helpful and I will be using this one for all future free hand looks for sure.
Cheers

Digital Dozen Food Week, Sad Little Oranges!
So, le sigh...why are the oranges sad for today's food mani for Digital Dozen? Well as you can see I lost all my length right after I did my almonds yesterday. I do have a long goodie saved for Friday, but this is what the rest of my week will look like. Oh, well. Short can still be cute. Anywho, the polish is two coats of Zip from My Indie Polish and I had the cool idea to use a neon green glitter topper as 'seeds' under my Bundle Monster orange stamping.
I love how the seeds pop under the stamping. All in all fun, if still a little sad.

Digital Dozen does Neon, The Secret Garden
So this is Day 1 for Neon Week for me and the girls of the Digital Dozen. For today I wanted to continue practicing my advanced stamping and decal making. I chose to do a floral, because it's OMD3 Book Day today as well. I've recently been reading the condensed adapted children's versions of classics to my kids. We've done Alice in Wonderland and the Wizard of Oz. The next classic is The Secret Garden, which I just loved when I was young or my son has his eye on 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. For anyone with kids, these books would be at your library and are adapted for children by a company Called Stepping Stone Classics. I'm not reviewing for them or anything, I'm just so thrilled I found these. Anywho, this mani uses KBShimmer PT Young Thing for that amazing holo, and My Indie Polish;
-Crash-Green
-Bam-Purple
-Pow-Pink
-Zap-Blue
as well as I dab here and there of a few older polishes from my stash. I used the advanced stamping technique for all but the holo finger. For the holo finger I created a decal on my stamper and then applied it to the finger when dry.
Loved this manicure. It was so layered looking in person!
Cheers all,
