Digital Dozen Does Paper, Poop Decal
Well, hmmm! Ever wondered if you could just use paper to make your own decals? I decided to give it a try because I wanted to incorporate more 'actual' paper into this weeks Digital Dozen Does Paper. I decided to print off some cute Poop emoji's in different sizes and the word Poop. My base for this one was Ruby White Tips Mon Cher and Ruby White Tips Blue Realm. As you can see, even with Seche Vite as my quick dry, the paper still popped up on the edges.
SO, a total fail, but totally worth the try! Don't forget to check out my girls in the Inlinkz below.

Digital Dozen Getting to Know Me, Blue Freehand Floral
I've been having a little technical trouble getting these posts up even though I was ready and excited for this week early this month! Even as I'm writing this blogger is deleting the photos from the post! Frustration over...hopefully! I'm hoping to get all my delinquent posts up today.
The Digital Dozen theme for this month is Getting To Know Me! For the theme, I decided to tell you one thing about myself and one thing about my nail art in each post. For my first post I had to do a freehand look. I feel I'm a fairly decent freehand artist, and freehand looks are really how I started out my blog. For the personal bit, I love the colours blue and teal! I love wearing them in fashion and jewelry and feel they really make my blue eyes pop.
For this look the Ruby White Tips Indie is Blue Realm. My floral and dotted prints are both acrylic paint on a white polish base.
I loved wearing this look, it was very 'accidental' spring, as well as all my favourite colours!

Digital Dozen Does Black, Day 3.
This look is actually a recreation of one I did of a deer on black polish last year linked here. I decided to zoom in on the deer's head, but ended up having some difficulty with the antlers. Overall I'm happy with the look, and I created it using acrylic White on Ruby White Tips Addicted and mattified.
Love winter looks like these, but I hope we are getting closer to spring! Don't forget my girls in the links below.

31 Day. Day 6, Violet. RWT Mys Violet
For today's #31dc2016 it's Violet day. I had this great unposted look I created a while back. I used a base of Ruby White Tips Mys Violet and created the Zebra print with a nail art pen. I've never used these much, so it was a fun exercise.
With the name of this polish, it was the perfect post for today!

Review BP-X03
This look was created using an awesome plate I just received from Born Pretty linked here. BP-X03. I started with a hot pink base from Color Club and sponged the tips with Ruby White Tips Smaug's Gold. I keep reaching for this gold lately, I think because fall is finally in the air here. Once that dried I stamped the pattern in Revlon Espresso. This plate worked great, and has amazing images of bows I have a plan for shortly!
I love the feel of tone on tone stamping, I wish I had seen this matte though. Once again, the plate is from Born Pretty Store linked here. If you do check it out, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!

Digital Dozen Does Negative Space Week, Day 3
Today I decided to try using Negative Space as part of my art instead of using it in the more traditional ways I'm terrible at!
I used a fan brush to fan royal blue and turquoise onto clear nails and stamped white waves on top from BM-504 and then created sea creature decals on my latex mat using:
My Indie Polish Zip
Color Club Neon Pink
Color Club Neon Pink
The creature images are from Moyou Sailor Collection 01.
I really like using Negative Space as an art element, and might need to try it again soon.

Digital Dozen Does Fashion, Day 1
This week The Digital Dozen is redoing Fashion as our prompt. When we were choosing prompts for the upcoming months, Fashion stuck out as one of those topics that deserves a second go.
I've been inspired by hand painted clothing I've been seeing on Etsy lately, this design in particular linked here. I love the idea of hand painted or silk screened clothes. The wearable art of it, and it being one of a kind. For the nails I used:
Ruby White Tips Blue Realm
Dragon Claw Polish Blazing Banana
OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Dragon Claw Polish Blazing Banana
OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls
I reached for BP74 for the stamping image from Born Pretty Store, as it's a plate I had awaiting review. It was the perfect choice, and I want to try out all the cute butterflies on this plate as well. It would be a great plate for summer manis, and it picked up easily.
As I said, I managed to double this one up as a review and the plate is available at the Born Pretty Store linked here. If you do check it out, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!

Digital Dozen Does Gradients, Day One, Cloud Nail Art
Today is Day 1 of Gradient Week here at the Digital Dozen. This look was inspired by artist Smash-chu on Deviantart.com. I used the polishes below for my gradient:
-Blue Realm from Ruby White Tips
-OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls
I then used acrylic paints to add my happy little clouds. I even created my first ever Instagram video on this look if you want to check it out on my page linked here.
Hope you guys enjoy our looks for Gradient week. Check out the Inlinkz below.

Spiral Stamp, Bundle Monster
What I wore last weekend was this cute mix and match spiral stamping look. The accent finger is Ruby White Tips Addicted and the pink is an unlabelled pink neon. I stamped using Bundle Monster BM-XL01 and added some acrylic paint dots to finish it off.
I'm so glad it's spring and time to brighten up. Spring cleaning has been happening around my place too, all those jobs you put off and tackle in the spring!

Digital Dozen Does Spring Day 5, Gradient Nail Stamping
Well that's it, I went 5/5 this week working on my stamping. I've been playing around with layering and combos I wouldn't normally try. I'm pretty happy overall with the improvements from all this practice. For this one, the spiral image is from Hehe 003 and is stamped in Essie Penny Talk. The base is Ruby White Tips Soft Kitty, the pink is acrylic paint and the grey is Ruby White Tips Addicted.
Don't worry, I haven't given up on freehand. I've just really wanted to improve my stamping and wear more of it. Hope everyone enjoyed Digital Dozen Spring week.

I'm Red Hot and in Distress!
I created this look a while back and never got around to posting it. I kind of wondered if it is too abstract art and 'out there' for nails. I was culling through some dusty old posts sitting in my drafts folder and really took a shine to it looking back. So what the heck here you go. I used tons of polish for this one, even a micro glitter in the middle layers for a gritty bumpy effect. All of the shimmers are from Ruby White Tips and the base is OPI Cha-Ching Cherry.
Well, you'll love it or hate it...let me know below. I'm curious and still on the fence myself!

Digital Dozen Does New and Improved, Friday
Another look I never ever go for, and we are talking VAMPY here. I used images from BM-223 and BM-316 stamped with Essie Penny Talk on Ruby White Tips Satin Sheets and OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. Both of these super dark and rich green shades look almost black under my lighting and très vamp! I never reach for green or attempt to evoke my inner vampy nail Goddess! So this look is mucho out of character for me. For the pinky finger I added in some delicate flowers freehand to vary up the fingers.
What do you guys think, feeling seduced yet?

Digital Dozen Does New and Improved, Monday
Well well well, back to my favorite week of the month. Digital Dozen week this round is New and Improved! I decided to retry stuff this week that has stumped me in the passed or that I never circled back to for whatever reason. This summer I did a couple back to back saran manis and loved them but then forgot to keep at the technique. Today's look is a two-for-one, because I never use vinyls and its been a while since those first couple sarans.
I used a base of Sally Hansen White Out in one coat and one dry I applied some old wave vinyls I had kicking around. I then used a pinched piece of saran to splodge on four complimentary shades from Ruby White Tips. I went from lightest shade to darkest to build slowly and started with the green.
Once done, I removed the vinyls, dotted in with the gunmetal grey holo and topped with matte coat. This look is kind of 'outside the box' for me and I really liked wearing it. This week really will be an excuse to force myself to try things I wouldn't or haven't for a while. I recommend this to anyone. It's almost cleansing.

Rudolph!
An un-posted cute look from last year, this is Rudolph on Ruby White Tips Kim. Two coats of Kim and the rest is acrylic. I wore these for Christmas day last year, but didn't post them for lack of time, so I thought why not save them.
Hope your holidays are shaping up to be fun and love filled!

Ruby White Tips Latex Review
So today I have a review up for you of the new Latex Barrier from Ruby White Tips shop linked here. This is my first indie latex barrier I've tried, as in the past I've only used latex extension glue from Sally Beauty which works in the same way. Extension glue is great and cheap...and also a gross poop brown. It also needs to be applied with an art sized brush which ruins the brush for future use for art. The RWT Latex is bubble gum purple and the lip gloss style applicator makes this way easier to use and much easier on the eyes!
As with all latex, you apply to the sides and cuticle area of the fingers and allow to dry. Once dry, you apply your art and just peel off. For my art I used Essie Penny Talk to stamp on This Is Not Black also from the RWT Winter Collection! As a tip, latex dries incredibly fast and the colour will darken once it's dry.
For anyone who is into messy art like stamping, picking up a tube of latex really is the way to go. It saves you tons of time on your clean up, and it's kind of fun to peel off too. Once again, it's available for purchase at the RWT Etsy Shop linked here. As a heads up if you are reading this a couple week after the post went live, Ruby White Tips will be switching its shop over to the Amazon platform linked here.

Ruby White Tips Winter Collection Review
Up today is the much anticipated Ruby White Tips Winter Collection I was sent for review recently from their shop linked here. This post is photo heavy, but so worth the browse so stay tuned!
Little Things Are Big,
This soft nude/pink with a rose dust shimmer dries glossy and perfect in two coats. This polish I found really unique, and because I liked it so much, I chose to start with all the pastels in the collection. I really hope to see more pastels from RWT in every collection. These were really something special.
This Is Not Black
Soft pink with micro silver holo. Dries matte and slightly textured, but this was gone after one coat of Seche. Another one that's perfect in two coats.
Soft Kitty
This is also two coats with Seche. It's a so glossy on its own though, and my absolute favourite of the pink tone polishes. This perfect nude/pink has adorable red and silver micro glitters peeking out.
Shut Up And Sit Down
This polish was a little more sheer than the others, but still buildable in three thin coats. This silvery baby blue has a holo touch and really needs to be seen, my camera didn't do it justice!
Ticket Out Of Here
This neat minty green was good in two coats. This polish was the fussiest of the bunch. It has a hint of texture that smooths out well with a generous Seche coat, but doesn't like photography...at all. Guys, I gotta tell you it's gorgeous and totally worth it!
Blue Realm

Blue Realm
This one is the perfect blue and like a cross between a shimmer and a holo. It's stunning!!! I dub this a 'sholo' and it's one of the best in the collection. (I'm a nut for blue!)
Bronze Batwing Holo
Bronze Batwing Holo
This ones pretty unique with its pink shimmer base and red/pink micro glitter and 'bat glitter!!!' It's insanely cool. Ruby White Tips actually has a long standing relationship and donates proceeds from some polish to a Bat Sanctuary, more info linked here.
Addicted
Addicted
This one in its sexy matte gorgeous finish was another fave. I would wear this as is and stare all day long! A fine silver dust really makes this a next level polish.
Mon Cher
This one is the perfect denim blue holo, heavy on the holo payout! Another one perfect in two coats, and so flashy! Fabulous formula and straight to the front of my holo stash!
Extraordinary
This polish is very Ruby White Tips. Earthy, rich, shimmery and smooth. This is two coats of the style and finish RWT does best. This dusty taupe/mauve would look amazing as a less vampy holiday polish.
Satin Sheets
Similar to the last one, satin Sheets 'is' a vampy charcoal polish with intense green shimmer. Potentially a one coater, but I've used two for the photos. I also loved the satin finish, so this one is without Seche.
For Them All
Another crazy fun polish with those bats! This polish looks so squishy and shiny, that the bats are hard to see in these photos even though there are three in the mani. Unlike other large glitter polishes, I had no trouble getting these out of the bottle. This is a really neat mix of glitter and juicy and full opaque in two coats.
Hue Too Many
I'm going to rename this BEST EVER GLITTER TOPPER! I love my blues and this was just gorgeous! I can't wait to use this one over the holidays for all those snow manis. This is two coats over nude nails and also over Blue Realm. I did both so you could see the glitter payoff. This formula was also fab.
All in all, a varied mix of polish this round from RWT linked here. I hope to see way more pastels in future as I'm now in love with the feel of their pastels. I'm also super stoked about that glitter topper. If you're in the market for a new brand, you have to check out this gem of a company!!!!
