Red Zebra Nail Art!
Just going through my un-posted drafts in the blog folders on this relaxing Sunday afternoon and found this cute glittering animal print that I never posted...for some unknown reason. I'm loving the combo of Essie Penny Talk on whatever raspberry micro glitter that is. I could find it and the Bundle Monster plate number, but I'm too snuggled up right now listening to music in my flannel sheets.
If you insist on knowing, shoot me a comment below. Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend!

Digital Dozen Does Black, Day 1.
First look for Digital Dozen Does Black week is this animal print skittles look. I haven't done animal print in ages, so I snuck in a little colour as accent and created this look. I kept my black mmm from Sally Hansen as my main colour, but the neon pink is from Color Club and the blue is China Glaze Frostbite.
I finished the freehand dots and leopard spots in acrylic paint. I also used a small rhinestone stud on my middle finger for a little more dimension.
I
I really enjoyed wearing this look and wore it on both hands for almost a week.
Don't forget to check in on the other DD ladies below!

31 Day. Day 13, Animal Print. Digital Dozen 4!
Today is animal print for #31dc2016 as well as day two of Digital Dozen 4 week. I went with techniques again for my 4 cue. I chose dotting, stamping, gradients and animal prints itself as my 4! I used Essie Full Steam Ahead and Don't Rock the Boat for my base. I used Nicole By OPI Khloe Had a Lamb Lamb for everything else!
I loved this, and could wear it a loooong time. I did just realize, that the bottle I'm using in the photo is not actually the purple I used in the mani! Ha!

31 Day. Day 6, Violet. RWT Mys Violet
For today's #31dc2016 it's Violet day. I had this great unposted look I created a while back. I used a base of Ruby White Tips Mys Violet and created the Zebra print with a nail art pen. I've never used these much, so it was a fun exercise.
With the name of this polish, it was the perfect post for today!

Lisa Frank Leopard, Inspired by Banicured
This one qualifies for #clairesttelle8feb Techniques You Love. If I'm honest, it's been ages since I did Leopard Print and I have no idea why I ever got away from it. It's always been one of my favourite designs, so I looked at today's prompt as a great excuse. I used two coats of Rimmel Sunny Days for my yellow base. I picked it up recently when I realized I have only a 1/2 bottle of yellow cream in my stash and that's it! Anyway, once the base was dry I used my Born Pretty Pallet Ring filled with acrylic paints to fill in the design.
This look is based loosely on a recent Banicured look that was inspired by the art of Lisa Frank. Once this was complete on both hands it was a riot of colour.
Thanks all, and make sure to check out Born Pretty Store and their huge selection nail art supplies if you love that cute pallet ring. If you do, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are still offering my readers!

Digital Dozen Does New and Improved, Friday
Another look I never ever go for, and we are talking VAMPY here. I used images from BM-223 and BM-316 stamped with Essie Penny Talk on Ruby White Tips Satin Sheets and OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow. Both of these super dark and rich green shades look almost black under my lighting and très vamp! I never reach for green or attempt to evoke my inner vampy nail Goddess! So this look is mucho out of character for me. For the pinky finger I added in some delicate flowers freehand to vary up the fingers.
What do you guys think, feeling seduced yet?

O is for Old, February 19
O is for Old for today's A2Z prompt. I picked this Sally Hansen Berry Juicy polish, because it's one of my oldies and a fave too. Topped with Wicked Polish Fairy Blood Splatter and then I used the glitters as the centers for this abstract scattered animal print. I chose animal print, because it's one of the first designs I learned.
The black was acrylic. This design is kind of off the wall, but I did like it. Let me know what you think.

Skulls, #naillinkup, February 16-22
Ok, time for another #naillinkup. This week February 16-22 is still open and the prompt is Skulls. I just did skulls on my recent twinsie mani, so I came up with something a little different. Started with a base of Laquerlicious I See Green Again and then added my...what should I call this...triple layer Zebra print in acrylic paint. After that I added my lil skull friend and gave her a matching bow.
This one is kind of wonk-tastic!! Hope you likey!

Digital Dozen, Pattern on Pattern Week 3/5 Double Zebra
Indie Polish Rapture is one of my recently reviewed polishes that I just had to use for this weeks designs for Digital Dozen. Today's Pattern on Pattern is a double zebra look. I added the black stripes, but wanted more so I went back in with some gold acrylic. Once dry I added the heart accent to finish this as a hot Valentine's idea. I really love this finished look.
Don't forget to check out what my ladies are working on today, and tomorrow I have something super super fun for you. And for those that asked, I'm ever so slowly kicking this flu.

January 23, White Base
I wasn't sure if I'd do another detail art look for the White Base prompt today or not. I then remembered it's been ages since I did any animail prints. I always use white as my gradient base to increase the vibrancy of the gradient colours. In this case I used my acrylic paint gradient technique for ease of clean up and then added a varied animal stripe in black.
I really liked the animal pattern I created this time, it was a little more organic in its flow.

January 9, Red Base
Oh goodness, it's been way way too long since I did an animal print. I finished this luscious design inspired by @Lextasynails on Instagram, and sighed because it's just so girlie!
This is two coats of Whole Lava Lovin from KBShimmer, and the design is done in acrylics.
Have you missed animal prints my hunnies...cause apparently there will be more soon! Oh and by the way, every time I pull out this polish is a good time! I love this one.

Floral and Zebra Nail Art, Above the Curve Glitter
This look was I nspired by dizzydes86 on Instagram. Hers is a different colour palette, but If you love the art make sure to check her page out. For base I used my gorgeous Sinful Colors Endless Blue in two coats topped with Above The Curve's Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey. I took a swat hero for you because it's just so pretty on it's own.

Ruby White Tips Gradient Animal Print
This look is a stunner that was inspired by Kimiko7878 on Instagram. I used two coats of Ruby White Tips unnamed orange red holo and then sponged Ruby White Tips Smaug's Gold in the centre of each nail with a cosmetic sponge. Then with my smallest detail brush I created the animal print in black acrylic. I love the fall pallet for this animal print. It's so luscious and hot for right now.
Thanks for stopping by, what's your favorite fall look?

OMD2, 21. Animal Print
These...I love love love! I got the idea when I did my rainbow nails linked here. I used the same technique here on the pinky using all the colours of the rainbow, then added the black dots. I then used the purple and red from the rainbow and added this different style of tiger stripe on top. The red is OPI Passion For Fashion, the purple is this NYX Fierce Purple and the silver an unnamed bottle that was a stocking stuffer.

OMD2, 15. Abstract
This is my entry for Abstract! I don't know where the idea for micro blue leopard and neon triangles came from in my mind...but here you go! Abstract enough for you? This is a two coat base of My Boyfriend Scales walls by OPI and the blue leopard is acrylic. The triangles were done in China Glaze Orange Knockout, Pink Voltage and Color Club Twiggie and I outlined them in black acrylic after to make them pop off the design more.
This might be my favorite since my first design in the challenge for Mint linked here.
