Big Stamper Review, BPS
Today's post is a review of some things I was sent recently from Born Pretty Store. This really big stamper linked here and plate BP-L048 linked here.
I never knew how the really large plates would pick up, so I did a little test. I coated one entire edge of the plate with Essie Penny Talk and did a pick up straight out of the package. As you can see this squishy and slightly sticky stamper didn't fail. I proceeded with my mandala mani below over Orly Gaga for Green and a bit of black distressing. I also loved this plate! you can never have too many tribal images in my opinion.
If you were curious about these stampers as I was, don't hesitate. I can't wait to try this out for decal making. The born pretty store is linked here for these and any other nail art supplies. If you check it out, use this 10% off discount code UNGX31 they are offering my readers!

Digital Dozen Does Negative Space, Day 1
Oh Negative Space! I'm kinda terrible at Negative Space manicures, but I decided to dive right in to Digital Dozen Does Negative Space Week with a traditional taped of look. I used some triangle vinyls to create the gaps, and dotted in the corresponding colours in the negative areas.
-Sinful Colors Endless Blue
-Orly Lollipop
A pretty basic look to achieve, but Blech on so many levels! Oh well, tomorrow is much better. I'm decent at gradient French tips. Maybe I'll just stick with that!!

Digital Dozen Does Whimsy Week, Day 1 Lollipop Floral
My friend Google says Whimsy is, playfully quaint or fanciful behavior or humor. With that said, what to do but mish mash flowers and girly colours in an abstract way to get me warmed up to this theme! For the base on this I used Orly Lollipop and then just went wild in my plate stash choosing images. I really liked the final, especially matte.
I find this look both playful and quaint, so I guess it is a success.

Spring Double Stamp
Orly Gaga For Green
Rimmel Sunny Days
BM-605
Moyou London Fashionista Collection-04
I also dotted in a bit of acrylic black to create a bit more continuity. I wore this till it was falling off! It's so fun to mix unexpected colour and stamping.

Digital Dozen Does New and Improved, Tuesday
Today we have something for the 'cuteness' fans. I wanted to try out another blobbicure as I think I've only done one in the past. For some reason, I got an octopus in my head that just had to correspond, (something about the tentacles I think). Our minds work in mysterious ways right!
Anyway, the base on this one is Orly Lollipop and the darker shade is Finger Paints Pop Art Purple. I used Ciate Pepperminty for the accent nail base and a mix of the other shades and acrylic paints for my lil buddy Bubbles here.
He turned out super cute and even better once I added the matte. So far, 2/2 on styles I need to use more. I especially like the blobbing used with the freehand in this look. Check out my girls below, and you may also notice some fantastic new faces listed!

Orly Hot Shot, Gel Polish with Stamping
This look was eye catching in person...and also less imperfect at a distance. This is Hot Shot from Orly's Gel Polish line up and my new go to for summer pedicures. As you may or may not have noticed, this mani is a lot shorter than my last post. I growing out a break, so I took my length down and did this gel mani to get me through a weekend away without doing further damage. This image is from Moyou and stamped in Konad white and matted.
Hope you all are having a great week, and I had a great trip away in case your wondering.
Cheers all,
