Digital Goodness! Who had short shorts!

So I did these cool nails right after my last cut down, and until now forgot to post. I'll also have another shorty look coming soon in a neon. For this one I used, Sally Hansen Mousseline for base, Finger Paints Pop Art Purple for Stamping and the image is BM-608.

The Crumpets, 40 Great Nail Art Ideas! Halloween

I started this one with two coats of Cashmere Bathrobe from Essie before stamping of the creepy looking webs with Konad White. I then jumped in with a dotter and detail brush for the purple and orange acrylic roses. I was inspired by @allnailseverything on Instaram for this look, and knew I just had to recreate it this year.

Saran Nail Art, Halloween Bundle Monster Stamping

I stamped these cute and creepy Bundle Monster eyes on top of a Saran base you might recognize from this recent post linked here. I wore this one and my recent Zombie hands together and really liked the mix and match hands for a change. I matted the look as well, and think it added to the depth. This type of a saran and stamping look could be an easy go to if you are still deciding what to wear for Halloween this weekend. I used mostly Ruby White Tips for my base, but any combo of polishes would work. Just topcoat and stamp.

Halloween Fail, But Coolest Fail Ever!

So, in my head these were the coolest. They looked just like these, only minus the problems every step of the way. My gradient dried slow so I had bald spots to be filled. Not one of my stamped images came out perfect, and my cleanup managed to bleed the black on the middle finger even though I had topcoat??? Even after all that, I loved these.

I have a folder full off fails I will never post, but for some reason here we are. For the base I used China Glaze White on White, the orange is Ruby White Tips Saffron and the black is acrylic paint.

Fail yes, but aren't they the coolest?

The Crumpets, Saran and Green Purple and Orange!

Saran is for sure a road I need to travel again soon! I think I've only tried this once before and was meh on the results. Crumpets unique prompt for today was a Saran combined with orange, green and purple. I'm really glad I was forced to try again. This baby was so cool! I used a series of great shimmering metallics from Ruby White Tips on a base of Greige Gardens from Sally Hansen. It needed a tiny sparkle, so before matte coat I used a splodge or two of Glisten Here from Finger Paints. I like the subtle Halloween and slightly creepy feel of this one.

I used this one to create some Halloween fun I'll be posting soon, but I easily could have just worn this alone.

Gradient Stamping Floral

I've been playing around with gradient stamping off and on lately, and thought this look was pretty fun. The base on this one is Ciate Pepperminty and for stamping I used China Glaze Go Crazy Red and Nabi Sky. I also turned the stamper to make the image flow on a diagonal. This was accidental on the first nail, but I went with it for the rest.

I like how complicated and interesting gradient stamping looks, and was in love with this colour combo too.

Mrs. P's Potions, It's Da Balm Review

Hello fair ladies! Those of you that follow me on Instagram saw me post It's Da Balm from Mrs. P's Potions when I received it, giving it a quick thumbs up for my first impression! I decided to wait a few more weeks before posting the rest of this post to give me time to formulate a true opinion.

So here goes. I usually struggle in the fall here in Canada, as my skin tries to transition from summer temperatures and humidity to the cold dry air and use of the furnace. I got to skip the plague of hangnails and raw hands I usually battle, and am in a much better place heading into Canadian winter then in the past. I haven't changed my normal hand cream or frequency of use at all, just swapped in It's Da Balm and a good hand scrub every couple days using Mrs. P's All Natural Scrubs linked here. 

In the past, I've been a real fan of oils for my cuticle care, but this style of moisturizer was different, effective and less messy. Mrs. P's scent selection is also amazing and I personally liked all the ones I've tried. The scent on the balm I've been using is apple cinnamon.

All in all, a great great product especially heading into winter. I do think that I'll be sticking with this one for a long time! Do yourself a favor and try out this unique and effective balm. It's Da Balm is available at Mrs. P's shop linked here.
