Jindie Betty's Fetty Milkshake, Sugar Skull Nail Art

This is my first ever Sugar skull look, and she's a little creepy which is perfect in October. I looked online at some drawing and tattoos before combining some looks for this design. Mostly it was from a great tattoo design drawing. The Jindie is two coats of Betty's Fetty Milkshake, one of my faves. The skull design was done all in coordinating shades of acrylic.

I would place this ones difficulty rating:
Difficulty: Medium

And what's Cindy wearing you may wonder when we do these detail pieces? I'm currently growing out my Cindy nails, but was able to create this fun dotticure!

Zombify, Zombie Nail Art

So I got Essie Trombone on discount the other day and it's just the prettiest and best red ever...so Zombify right! Because you would wouldn't you? Anywho, this is two coats of Trombone. I then went in with acrylics and made this happen. He's pretty happy eating his pretty brains I must say! The inspiration I found with a Google search and the artist was Makeup Withdrawal. For those of you interested in recreating, the face was done with a detail brush, but the brains with a small dotter and sooo easy!

This is new, but I'm going to start difficulty rating my art. Hope you like the idea.
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 21 minutes

After that I edited on Picmonkey linked here as usual, but I used there funny Halloween filters to edit and Zombify my skin around the mani. If you haven't used this site you should try it. I have Photoshop and use it, but prefer this for my day to day edits and it's so fun.

Ruby White Tips Amanda with Grey Floral

What's this? Ruby White Tips Amanda again? Well, it is named after me...and is now available on Etsy linked here so why not! This lovely grey is two coats of Greige Gardens and topped with one coat of Amanda. On the floral fingers I used acrylics for the details.

After it was done it absolutely screamed for mattifying!! I was of course happy to oblige!

Don't some looks just have to be matte?

Art Exchange, Fall Nail Art

Normally I would call this a mani swap or perhaps a twinsie post, and it is, but it's also so much more. I recently discovered a new IG sketch artist called KreativaEmma with a very child like and sweet style. I approached her to create a one of a kind piece for me to recreate as a mani, and today I have the final looks for you. All my details were acrylic on a base of Paper Mache from Finger Paints. My initial green gradient was also created with acrylic, this is easy and I recommend it for creating base gradients.

Below is the design KreativaEmma  made for our collab. We discussed pumpkins and toadstools, but this is the lovely design she came up with. So sweet and so much detail.

Below is a look at the stages I took in my manicure for those starting in deetail work this might help.

I can't tell you how much fun this was, and hope to do this again very son.

Matte Brown Floral Nail Art

Not complicated at all today, this is China Glaze Ingrid with acrylic flowers and matte topcoat. Pretty and sweet look created easily with a large dotter and striping brush. I just got some longer stripes and wanted to practice with a simple look.

Halloween Nail Art, Franken-Happy

Here it is, my second Halloween look, and my very first portrait...sort of! I've been scared of the precision needed for portraits but Frank here allowed for some leeway. I followed along with a Robin Moses video and used only grey, black and white acrylic for this. The base is Above the Curve Don't Blink in two coats. I'm happy with the final look, but my Frank is a little too happy!

So what do you think, spooky?

Floral and Zebra Nail Art, Above the Curve Glitter

This look was I nspired by dizzydes86 on Instagram. Hers is a different colour palette, but If you love the art make sure to check her page out. For base I used my gorgeous Sinful Colors Endless Blue in two coats topped with Above The Curve's Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey. I took a swat hero for you because it's just so pretty on it's own.

After that I added the zebra and orange roses in acrylic. Why orange? I don't know, seemed the thing to do at the time! I don't know about you, but I love the combo.
