Digital Dozen Nature Week, My Fave Mani Ever!

OK GUYS this is it...my fave ever mani I created! I've wanted to do a design based on this giant painting in my sitting room forever, and this Nature Week was the perfect opportunity. My base is NYC Lexington Yellow and the rest is warm tones of acrylic and hand mixed ones to get the right colours.

I'm kind of speachless as to what to write. the watercolour look and shading and shadows and trees and...and...and. I just really like how it all came together. I'm done patting myself on the back, I hope you guys like it too!

Digital Dozen Does Nature, Micro Mushrooms

For today I created a micro pattern...micro Mushrooms to be precise! ("but do we tell them these were supposed to be cupcakes originally?" "nooo precious we don't...just go with the mushrooms!") These lil guys were inspired by the style of @cottonconey on Instagram. She micro patterns everything, so I wanted to try my hand at these mushrooms ("cupcakes!" "shhhhh precious before they hears us...dirty little cupcakeses.") I  used Essie Don't Rock The Boat as my base and earth tone acrylics for the details.

Hope you enjoy these "mushcakes!" And don't forget oh check out my friends below!

Cheers all,

Digital Dozen Nature Week, Winter Nails

I have an awesome week of Nature Nails for you guys for this weeks Digital Dozen week. I have two recreations from fave artists and more importantly, one of my best creations ever. An original design of my own that turned out just amazing! Today's mani is a Brit Nails design of winter berries tutorial linked here. I saw this one recently and saved it for this week. I just love winter designs! I swapped in this Blue Pearl from Klean Color another of those Christmas presents my dad surprised me with. The rest is acrylic. This design was really easy, and looked especially wintery over a blue frost finish.

I hope you like my first Nature post. Can't wait to take a look at what the other girls have been up to.

#naillinkup, Cinderella Nails

This is my Cinderella Manicure for #naillinkup Cinderella Prompt inspired by the new live action movie coming soon. This mani, I've had in mind forever. I received a birthday card from my dad last year and the combination of pink on blue reminded me of the scene where the fairies change Cinder.... oh wait .... that was Sleeping Beauty with the colour change dress. You just watched me type an actual in the moment brain fart. I've been saving this bloody card for Sleeping Beauty and just created a whole post wrong for Cinderella! (Bad Word $%@) Ok, well Cinderella has love and flowers and stuff so here you go! This is Gellish Passion as my base stamped with Konad White then Nabi Sky also stamped with Konad White. I taped of the first section as I stamped the blue if anyone is wondering.

Well, can't believe I just did that, but the nails are cute. In this last photo you can see the inspiration card below my hand.

Q is for Quirky, Distressed Stamping

Q is for Quirky is today's A2Z prompt. This look is actually a Digital Dozen Pattern on Pattern that I regelated, but thought would be perfect for 'Quirky'. This is once again the technique where I stamp and then use tape to distress sections of the image. I repeated the process in three separate stamping layers then applied top coat. The base for this is two coats of a holo silver from Gosh.

Hope you likey! Kind of looks like Graffiti.

Indie Polish, Drinks With Umbrellas Tropical Nail Art

Another look today with Drinks With Umbrellas from Indie Polish. It's been a bit since I created something Tropical...cause you know, 6 feet of snow out there and all. The gradient was created using only polish from the Indie Polish collection linked here and the Palm trees with black acrylic paints.

It's crazy how much this makes me crave the sunshine and a fizzy drink out by a pool.

Cynthia Rowley Polish, Nail Stamping

This is a hot and hard to capture look. I've always used this tile like image with black as my stamping colour. This time around over this hot Cinthia Rowley Polish I've used a more subtle silver for the stamping. This is two coats of this hot pink/purple polish. It's really intense in person, and yes...freaks out my camera a touch. I'd give you the name, but this and the other two Cynthia Rowley's I grabbed in a de-stash seem to be unnamed. Anyone know?

A hint more purple than this last photo in person but super bright, and makes me dream of spring!
