OMD3 Day 28, Princess. Black and White French

This girlie OMD3 Princess prompt inspired look was created using an image from plate VL-019 from Vivid Lacquer. Underneath was a simple China Glaze White on White and clear polish gradient.the stamping was Konad Black. I created this look to wear to my cousins wedding, and what could be more Princess-y than a wedding!

I'm not really a French mani kinda girl, but these I rocked for almost a week!

Cheers all,

OMD3 Day 23, Under the Sea Nails

My Under The Sea OMD3 prompt nails were so very cool in person. I created a distressed background using Nabi Ski and My Boyfriend Scales Walls from OPI. Then I stamped waves in White from Konad and used advanced stamping for the Jellyfish. Bothe the Jellies and waves were from BM-504.

I saw these jellies filled in purple by someone else a while back and just had to recreate over my water.

OMD3, Day 21 Travel

This one was what I wore recently for Canada Day. I decided to save it for the Travel prompt for OMD3. This Bundle Monster leaves were stamped with Go Crazy Red from China Glaze and the dots were black acrylic paint.

I had fun wearing this festive and graphical look.

Cheers all,

OMD3 Day 20, Jewel

I didn't know what to post for OMD3 Jewel day so I decided to do my first ever Sharpie look.
I used a black sharpie and alcohol to create the marbling in this one, but to change it up I decided to try it on a holo. The pink base was two coats of Engorgeous by CBL. In keeping with the theme, I added two stones while my Seche was still tacky.

It's different, and I'll definitely try this technique out again. I can't wait to try it on a cream as well. Oh, an FYI if you attempt this...it bleeds into your sidewall the whole time. It was fairly impossible to clean it up for my pictures.

Cheers all,

Twinsies with Copycat Claws, Sand Castle Nails

These were a cute design Serene from Copycat Claws and I picked out for some Twinsie fun today. I'd been wanting to work on some really summery and intricate freehand stuff and Serene was up for the challenge too. Once finished I got lucky to see that my little crab friend helps me fill in Day 22 of OMD3 for the Star Sign prompt. The symbol for the Star Sign for Cancer is actually a Crab, so it works out perfectly! I have to tell you guys this was a really fun look to work on, and especially with someone else. Don't forget to follow this link over to see Serene's. For my base I used My Boyfriend Scaled Walls from OPI and the rest was created in acrylic with my tiniest detail brush and matted with Cult Nails Wax That.

The first picture I took to show you how I began to outline the image as these across the nails designs can be tricky to line up.

I hope you guys love our crabby lil guys as much as we did. Don't forget to visit Serene linked here if you haven't already!

Cheers all,

OMD3 Day 18, Love Nails

Ok guys I'm back! I've been hitting the summer wedding circuit hard, and they've been busy family wedding too. Today's look is Love for OMD3. Actually I'm behind and will try and catch you up the next two days. For this I used a base of Finger Paints Pop Art Purple and stamped the Bundle Monster hearts from BM-620 in Konad White. I then used a small dotter to fill some of the hearts in OPI Birthday Babe and Uptown from NYC Color. Then Wax That from Cult Nails.

It's hard to not look at this one as a Valentine's look with all those hearts, but it's cute and very girlie so it works for me!

Cheers all,

Digital Dozen Does Neon, Summer Flip Flops

Today's neon-spiration came from a cute pair of children's flip flops on Etsy linked here. Today's Shoe day for OMD3 and Day 5 for Neon Week for the Digital Dozen. Neon Shoes is pretty specific, and it's also why I love when challenges line up. The suggestions you end up with can be awesome. It didn't work out for every DD day, but today's double prompt might be my fave DD for this week! I used Celtic Sun from China Glaze...yet another neon green, and stamped this leafy Bundle Monster image. I topped it in Seche so I could see how cool and abstract this turned out alone before I freehanded on the random flowers. I then matted, and it was so good matte!

Hope you guys had a great week out in the real world! Check out my girls Day 5 creations below!
