Digital Dozen Does Autumn, Sunset In The Forest!

I still have one look to complete, but so far I'm most proud of this fall forest sunset look I created after being inspired by @_lastraga on Instagram. I used all acrylic paints for my forest and foliage over a thermal base of Echoes Polish Pixi Stix 2.0. I was hoping for a little sunset magic and wasn't disappointed. Take a look at the cool sunset effect I achieved when The colour change kicked in. Sunset in the forest!!

Digital Dozen Does Autumn, Leaves and Plaid!

Advanced stamping from Bundle Monster and some plaid today for day two of Digital Dozen Autumn Week. My base on this is Different Dimensions Copper Bottomed and the cream centre fingers are Orly Frosting. For the stamping I used Konad Black and China Glaze Go Crazy Red. I love how the double stamped plaid came out. I can't wait to try this out in some pastels. The leaf fingers are filled on the stamper and advanced stamped with corresponding colours.

I hope you liked this very fall look. I'm pretty happy with how it came together and now that I've figured out the plaid look without a plaid stamp, I can try it again and again!

Digital Dozen Does Autumn, Acorns and Oak on Mrs. Ps PotionsTurningTundra

This awesome and cute design for day one of Digital Dozen Autumn Week was inspired by +nailartbymae  on Instagram linked here. Her version featured giant acorns on a background of the adorable fall leaves. I decided to go with a micro version, and did it on Mrs. P's Potions fantastic thermal Turning Tundra, and what a final look! Guys I loved this! So cute and perfect for fall! I just loved those cute acorns.

The Crumpets Nail Tarts, My first Mix. Teal Roses

So here is the second week of Crumpets in the new Crumpet world and it's the rotating one! What that means, is we'll all be doing Teal, but the second part of the prompt is individual to each Nail Tart. Cool right, and I'm Teal and Roses! The base on this is Ciate Pepperminty and for stamping I use Nabi Sky, and then matted it.

I love these tone on tone stamping looks, so subtle and wearable!

Mrs. P's Potions, Distressed Mani

Today's look is a distressed mani using every one of the Mrs. P's Potions I was sent for review from her store linked here. This mani turned out really incredible. I've already gotten a ton of compliments as it was the base for my recent hobby post. This base wowed me so much I saved the pictures to use as its own post. It deserved it.

It always amazes me how good distressed manis turn out, considering how simple they are to create.

Neon Mandala's

One of those posts that sits in your drafts until you look again and remember how awesome the look was! This one was a neon Mendal stamping decal I made. I used a mix of a bunch of colour club neons for the different layers in the Mendala and the same colours for the dots. I really liked this one...even after my stamp smeared. Grrrrrrr.

Even smeared, still not bad for one of my first few stamping decals.

The Crumpets Are Back With 40 Great Nail Art Ideas, Hobbies

So The Crumpets are back with a full year of once a week prompts for you! We are on a cool rotating schedule and all get assigned different things depending on the week. This week we all got up to some Hobbies...and around my house, that means video games, learning how things work and science experiments. My kids like learning about the weather and nature and we like to read. This mani is a huge mix of things to represent our interests. I used a mix of Bundle Monster plates for the images and created an amazing Distressed mani using a huge ton of Mrs. P's Potions. I loved it so much, I have a separate post coming up soon with that base art.
