Polish Addict Nail Color, Hello Sweetie and Neon Feathers

This is  Hello Sweetie from The Doctor Who Collection from Polish Addict Nail Color. This is a stunner, but a bit sheer, and required three coats...but I should have done a fourth now that I see the photos.

I love the multi-dimension added by the tiny holo shimmers and darker spots of glitter in this stunning lilac base.

This look I attempted as my something new for the Facebook Finger Foods Theme Buffet Group I'm part of. I haven't attempted feathers yet and thought they looked simple enough. I saw these neon ones on Instagram on mllrdesign page linked here. Her's are so much better than mine, these were not as easy as they look. I may have to revisit! The Inlinkz for the other girls something new is below.

I have lots more PANC coming up for you too from my good friends epic haul she lent me!

Two looks, One Accent Nail and Polish Addict Nail Color Rainbow Concrete

This is Rainbow Concrete from Polish Addict Nail Color. This polish is a medium tone grey with a lovely shimmer and a myriad of shapes, sizes and colours of glitter. I really liked this polish, and wanted to dig out my fan brush for the pinky finger accent. The pinky is a mix of duochromes in a kind of angled tweed look. This was easy to build up doing angled strokes in two colours and black added last. For the ring finger I used Greige Gardens by Revlon...my fave medium grey in two coats followed by the rhinestones. Eh voila!

Below is two coats of a Mari Moon I borrowed from a friend, and as with the other I showed before the name on the label has actually worn away. But whatever... Let's go with B-eautiful!

I really liked this simple accent nail, so taking the opportunity to try the second look was fun.

Neon fun so nice we did it twice!

So I took another dip in my genius file...you know the one where I keep all my inspirtion pics! Anywho, I found a great great look that is totally fun for summer by b_jessica_3 on IG linked here.
Her's is slightly different, I chose neon Pink China Glaze Pool Party, and moved some of the fingers around...because I was dotting so fast and accidently moved on to my ring finger. I used Nicole by OPI Daffy Dill for the leaves, China Glaze Liquid Leather for the black details and OPI Alpine Snow for my base white.

This picture below is actually the first I took. I took it prior to topcoat...just in case of smearing!

I kept it for you because the two look nice...but different. The neon Pool Party is pretty matte-licious without topper.

This last photo...tada is my girl Nikkinailenvy from Instagram linked here. We decided to Twinsie this post for our Instagram accounts...and come on, this look is so nice why not see it again and again and again!

I'm wearing these as I write this and can't wait to do them again in another colour pallet. I for sure don't do enough skitlettes!

OPI DS Reflection, Glitter Placement and Freehand Lilies

This is OPI DS Reflection! What a beauty eh! (Eh is Canadian for huh!) This is two coats. It's just the right amount of shimmer and totally reminded me of AEngland.

My hubs was out of town, so I put Tomb Raider on and practiced some freehand and glitter placement. These gold hex glitters were tiny, so this took a while. The pointer finger was done with acrylics. I was going for a Lilly look. I was going to do the remaining fingers, but I loved the base colour too much!

Here's a macro, not too bad for my second try!

GG Birds and Striped Gradient

Hohoho...I feel like Santa, because I have another present for you! More decal magic from Green Goddess Creations! I liked these small coloured swallows soo much, (linked here) that I forgot to take a picture of the super fun striped gradient underneath. The idea for this look came from a blog I follow personally, Kerruticles and Claire's look is linked here for her striped gradient. I don't think I've seen this style gradient, so I wanted to try right away! Mine was created with a five piece mini nude kit from OPI. It was stunning by itself, kind of like neopolitan ice cream, but those swallows! Sooo cute in person. This had a dreamy feel.

To get the mirrored look for this I flipped over one of the decals and applied it upside down. If you haven't already, you must check out all the decals over at Lelia's store linked here. I can't wait to put together something using the Harry Potter decals she also sent!

Easter Nail Art, Freehand and Stamping

Those of you on my mailer might have got this without any text...not sure what Blogger was up to, but I'm sorry! This was a quickie I whipped off to wear over the Easter weekend. My son was ill, so I wasn't going to do anything but changed my mind at the last minute. This egg pattern is from the Bundle Monster Holiday Stamp Collection and this was Konad Special Black over Sally Hansen Very Berry. The wee chickie, (or cheepie in my house) is freehand acrylic. I tried a new Quick Dry over this and as you can see it smeared my stamping...back to KBShimmer!!!

Hope you had a great Easter!

Mari Moon, Ikat Chevron Nail Art

A whole lot of unknowns...that's what this post should be called! This luscious Mari Moon was borrowed from a friend and the name on the label is actually worn off. This one and another from the same brand both had labels that the lettering has faded away where the name goes. Anyway...who cares it's beautiful! This is two coats of...awesome sauce...no undies needed. The shimmer is this is amazing in my pictures and immense in real life!

After I wore it for a day, I decided to try practicing a new look I saw on IG. Ikat Chevrons! Not my idea, but what a good one. Mine looks ok, but this was better in cream finish polishes.

Enough is never enough, so I also added a silver glitter topper to my pinky and pointer. I never took notes either, because I wasn't sure if I would post this...mystery post. But everyone like a good mystery!

Jindie Nails, Betty's Fetti Milkshake

This one is a stunner, be warned! I've always just loved crelly glitters, but I just got to try Priness Bubblegum and Betty's Fetti Milkshake both from Jindie Nails this past week and now I have a new favorite style of polish...crelly micro glitter! I'm totally obsessed now! I need more!!! This is two coats of super easy happiness, and it's much easier then standard glitter to remove as well. I only did one thin coat of topper, but would recommend two or a thick one to smooth it out.

Just look at all the colours in this, it reminds me of a jawbreaker, or cupcake sprinkles!

After it was on, I did a bad thing and stamped this leopard print over top and added the hot pink. Now I don't hate the look, but it was a total waste of my first wear. You couldn't see the micro dots in between like I imagined, so it was a waste of Indie goodness. Oh well. I'll just have to wear my new baby again soon!

Cheers all,

Green Goddess Swallow Decals Review

My sweetheart Lelia over at Green Goddess Creations linked here, sent me a sampler of more decals to share with you. The first look I created was with these Swallows linked here.
First step I created this gradient over a white base using OPI City Shopper and Ciate Pepperminty.

Once the gradient layers were dry I stamped with leaves using Konad Special Black. I cut out and trimmed the decals I needed from the sheet, soaked and applied. Then topped all fingers with L.A. Colors Sassy Sparkle right over top of the stamping and decals to seal them in. Then topcoat.

This last photo is indirect sunlight.

My only problem now is deciding which to show you next! More birds, bats...The Simpsons...The Walking Dead. I have a few! Looking back on this, they remind me so much of this Halloween look I did last year, but much cuter due to those birds! Don't forget to go check out Lelia's store here, and choose your own nail buddies!

Creepy huh! But uhg, look at that hand position!

China Glaze Teal The Tide Turns

This is two coats of Teal The Tide Turns from China Glaze. Its one of their newer texture polishes and I kinda liked it. I've always wanted to try stamping over texture, so I used this as an excuse and pulled out my Konad Special White Stamping Polish. Now I'm usually pretty straight, but my placement wasn't bang on so I pulled out this matte micro glitter by Jindie called Dream In Color and added some detail to a few of the negative spaces in the stamped design.

Kind of quirky I know, but when I finished, I really liked this!
