Lady Queen Beauty Review, Cute Knuckle Rings

Today I created a cool and spacey stamping/dotting combo for you to complement a set of cute space knuckle rings I was sent from Lady Queen Beauty for review.

For the mani, I used two coats of PT Young Thing as my base and topped it with Seche. Just look at the fire on this holo, even under stamping and two coats of topcoat. I added the royal blue dots with one of my smaller dotting tools using acrylic paint before adding the Bundle Monster image in Konad White and then again in Konad Black.

I was hoping the rings available in the shop linked here  would be cute with this look, and I wasn't disappointed. I would recommend these rings for nail photos, or just for fashion. They are fun and a good value. I also still have a discount code of  ELLC15  for you guys to use.

These ring all come together in a three pack and are super cute.

At the time I'm writing this post, this set is also on sale and super cheap! You can check out Lady Queen's full ring selection in the page linked here, and don't forget the discount code ELLC15  for you guys to use.

POP goes the finger tattoos!

Today I have a gorgeous look I whipped up over Picture Polish Imperial. I stamped this fab leaves image from Bundle Monster over two easy coats of Imperial in Konad White. Then I dotted on the teal flower petals and outlined in black acrylic. I only added a few flowers for the POP of color, but I just loved the look. I also matted the whole thing.

Next I added these super cool Gold Flash Water Slide Tattoos from Lady Queen Beauty shop linked here.  These things are amazingly fun and easy to work with. Just like any water applied tattoo you've ever tried, but with a metallic twist. I cant wait to use these more! as you can see the image is large, and can be used in many ways, and many separate uses, if you just cut out the portions you want! I also have a discount code of ELLC15  for you guys to use.

I used the alternating teal and gold pattern across my knuckles. These lasted a few days even though they were on my hands. When I was ready, a good scrub with water and soap removed them easily.

What do you think? Wild and fun!! Their selection of images for these tattoos is very fun and totally worth a browse. Don't forget Lady Queen gave me that 15% discount for you to use as well ELLC15 .

It's My Birthday!

It was my birthday and two year blogiversary yesterday! I picked something completely fabulous to wear for my birth-week! I couldn't decide, but knew I wanted something bright and high contrast and found this look in my genius file by Wondrously Polished. Lindsey did this look a while back and I've saved it ever since because it's such a happy look. I used an unnamed Orange neon for my base and royal blue, black and white acrylic paint for the rest. The outlines were done with my details brush, but the rest of the dots and shapes of the flowers were created with dotting tools.

Now something fun to show you in honour of my blogiversary, below are the images I used for my first blog post and Facebook page. I created the super complex stamping look, and just look at the pics and poses!

What a hoot! Really love that pinkie though!

Neon Pink Nautical...Cause You Would Wouldn't you?

Today's look has been in my draft folder for a while as you can tell by the length and shape. It's so off the wall it had to see the light of day! Neon pink and nautical babies! I ordered some different nautical plates at the beginning of the summer and used a combo of images to create this layer look and test out the plates. I used Konad White, Black and an unnamed silver for my stamping over two coats of Wondrous Watermelon from Dragon Claw Polish.

This look was fun and chaotic in husband hated it! Thought it was a mess. Teehee.

Dragon Claw Polish, Bea. Floral Double Stamping

Today's look is a Floral on Bea from Dragon Claw Polish. You'll remember this gorgeous squishy Blue, and I've really been wanting to use it for something summery. Today's look is one of those oopsie-wait I love it moments. I started with two coats of Bea then stamped the tropical floral image in silver and then again in Konad White. The silver didn't show as much as I hoped on blue, so I double stamped in the white. This ended up giving the final look a shimmering shadow or halo look that I really liked.

As you may have noticed, this one was completed prior to my chop down. I have a few others, so you guys are going to be on a long and short roller coaster for the next bit! Fun!

Digital Dozen Week, Eat your P's and Q's!

Today I was feeling inspired by all the great micro fruits and veggie looks the other girls have been doing. When I was deciding what food I remembered that saying 'eat your p's and q's!' So I chose to do corn, carrots and peas in honor of those frozen veggie mixes we all ate growing up! I used acrylic paint for my veggies on one coat of Barielle Swizzle Stix and topped with Cult Wax That.

I really like how the corn turned out myself and it was easier than I thought using a dotting tool for the kernals.

Digital Dozen Food Week, Sad Little Oranges!

So, le sigh...why are the oranges sad for today's food mani for Digital Dozen? Well as you can see I lost all my length right after I did my almonds yesterday. I do have a long goodie saved for Friday, but this is what the rest of my week will look like. Oh, well. Short can still be cute. Anywho, the polish is two coats of Zip from My Indie Polish and I had the cool idea to use a neon green glitter topper as 'seeds' under my Bundle Monster orange stamping.

I love how the seeds pop under the stamping. All in all fun, if still a little sad.

Digital Dozen Food Week, I like Almond Nails! (haha)

So I'm a touch 'cheeky' as you guys know and when I was trying to figure out what foods go with nails I laughed out loud at myself when I thought well almonds of course...and I happen to be rockin my good old almonds right now to boot! The base on this is OPI Schnapps Out Of It, and the rest is two shades of beige I mixed for the patter on the almond skins. So, without further corny joke for the day my almonds!!!

Funny fact, when looking at pictures of almonds for this art I noticed that they are a lot like fingerprints and each is unique. I made sure to carry this idea through my nails as well.
