R2D2 Nail Art, Green Goddess Creations

This is Train Underwater from Pahlish. This is one coat over two coats of Sinful Colors Endless Blue. The decal is another goodie from Green Goddess Creations. I love her decals, so easy and adorable. I used a chevron nail guide also from Green Goddess to add my little digital design accent nail. You can find these and other Green Goddess goodies in her store linked here. She just launched a ton of Christmas decals to, so go and check it out.

Not sure if this is going to work, but I'm uploading my first little tutorial here. This is how to apply a water decal. I pre-painted the back of the R2D2 design white to allow it to show better on the dark polish.

Hope you guys like my little tutorial attempt.

Counting Sheep Nail Art, Green Goddess Creations

These were a fun little post I've had in mind since I was sent this little sheepie guy from Green Goddess Creations linked here. I saw a sleepy sheepie guy like my head here ages ago at Totally Cool Nails linked here. I did my pasture and fence in acrylics and then added my lovely little decal after I added a little white paint to the back so it would pop against Finger Paints Endless Blue.

1, 2, 3, 4.....hope I didn't put you all to sleep!

OMD2, 20. Chevron

These are my a Entry for the Chevron prompt. I'm a little behind on my prompts right now, but I had a great weekend with my family so it was worth it! This lovely grey holo is two coats of Above a the Curve Don't Blink, and the purple Above The Curve Pretend It's A Plan. The chevrons I masked off with Green Goddesss Creations Nail Masks. I then used black and white acrylic for the remaining details.

I really liked these and as usual my pot lights made the holo...fantastic! Tune into tomorrow, as I play catch up.

OMD2, 10. Favorite Polish

This is for the prompt Favorite Polish. Well how do you tackle that...I went with favorite type, which for me is micro matte glitter in a crelly base! No one does this like Jindie, so this is three coats of Princess Bubble Gum with top coat. For the art fingers I went with girlie cupcakes. This is a coat of Alpine snow with a tweed design over top. I used a medium pink and silver polish on my fan brush to create this tweed and then added the cutey patootie decals from Green Goddess Creations linked here. Once the decals were on I used Rimmel I Lilac You to add a few dots and then top coat.

Hope you all like the look.

OMD2, 8. Shimmer

These started with two coats of the amazing and lovely Picture Polish Electric Dream, an almost hot pink with a golden shimmer. This ones a beauty, and it was actually a shame to put anything on top...but it is challenge time so here we go. For the chevron design I used a new product from Green Goddess Creations linked here. These are called Nail Masques. They are similar to vinyls, but a bit easier, as they are all one piece. You really need to check them out. As my second shimmer shade I used China Glaze Rendezvous With You, a pretty purple black shimmer. I really need to use this one more.

I used the Nail Masks to create the full chevron, and the bits left on the backing sheet for my tip nails. Reuse Recycle!

Harry Potter Nail Decals From Green Goddess Creations

**sent for review

I was feeling some decals the other day, so I pulled out these Harry Potter Water Slide Decals from the Green Goddess Creations store linked here. These Harry Potter decals offer a number of images, but I chose the broom and snitch...and no I didn't have to look that up, I'm totally into the series. I then chose to add Harry and Ron together since they both played for Gryffindor. The link for this item in the shop is here. After I was done I dded the jelly glitter Iron Throne from Daring digits as a bit of a gradient to the tips.

I thought these were nerdtastic and I loved wearing them...even though I secretly think Ron looks like he has the pox instead of freckles!

Don't forget to check out all of Lelia's goodies over at the shop. She has sooo many new ones to choose from, and as always they are super easy to use.

The Simsons! Green Goddess Nail Decals

Here we go! Another creation using my fave nail decals from Green Goddess Creations, and the link to these awesome sauce decals is here. Lelia is wonderful, and has been so great to work with I'm happy to refer you guys to her shop. She does custom decals as well, so you could even order something for a special occasion.

Here is the base I prepped. This is a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales walls. I then dotted on the black dots and made my flowing lines around them with watered down acrylics. I used a Q-Tip to soak up extra to give the watercolour effect. Once dry I redid my black dots to keep them crisp. I didn't see this anywhere, so I don't know what to call it...but it's pretty! Watercolour Overflow perhaps? I definately want to play around with this!

Once dry, I used some Seche and moved on to the decals. Since my background was a little darker for these, I painted the image white on the back and allowed that to dry before I applied them.

I'm going to say Homer looks pretty happy with his new home on my fingers!

This last close up shows the decal fingers. I had a bit of trouble with rippling on Marge because I attempted to shift her too much. The beauty with decals though is that in person you really can't see edges.

GG Birds and Striped Gradient

Hohoho...I feel like Santa, because I have another present for you! More decal magic from Green Goddess Creations! I liked these small coloured swallows soo much, (linked here) that I forgot to take a picture of the super fun striped gradient underneath. The idea for this look came from a blog I follow personally, Kerruticles and Claire's look is linked here for her striped gradient. I don't think I've seen this style gradient, so I wanted to try right away! Mine was created with a five piece mini nude kit from OPI. It was stunning by itself, kind of like neopolitan ice cream, but those swallows! Sooo cute in person. This had a dreamy feel.

To get the mirrored look for this I flipped over one of the decals and applied it upside down. If you haven't already, you must check out all the decals over at Lelia's store linked here. I can't wait to put together something using the Harry Potter decals she also sent!

Different Dimension, This is Not Fir. Panda Accent

This is kind of a bonus post. I've had This Is Not Fir in my untrieds for a while just waiting to be used. When I put on the adorable Panda Decals from Green Goddess Creations the other day, they made me think of this polish right away. After I wore the mani for a bit, I removed every finfer but the ring ginger and replaced it with This Is Not Fir From Different Dimension. This green is the perfect Jelly Glitter. It's squishy and the colour is beautiful, and it's got an easy formula...and oodles of glitter in various shapes and sizes!

I'm not always into greens, but this is an exception to that rule for sure. Do you guys like green? Let me know below!

Green Goddess Creations, Owl Decals

As promised, here is my second review for decals received from the Green Goddess Creations Store on Store Envy. These owl images were actually the first I saw on Instagram and followed them to the lovely Lelia's page. As I mentioned before, these decals come forty a page. You get enough for tons of manicures. When I compare to some other brands. This page has four different owls in different Owly positions. My favorite were the two chosen here, because they are so....well...goofy! If you want to check to the listing for these owls, it's linked here.

In the instructions it mentions you can take a acrylic paint and fill in the clear areas of the decal depending on the base colour your using. I wanted to try this out, so I could let you know how easy this was to accomplish. Piece of cake! I cut and trimmed the decals as before, then soaked and removed them. I flipped them upside down and splodged on the white paint with my detail brush. As you can see it's not a fussy project at all..

Next I added a quick drying topcoat and gently placed and smoothed the decals on and allowed the topper to dry. My base colour here is two coats of Ciate Peperminty.

Once that was done I went in with my details. I used Essie Shake Your $$ Maker and Nicole By OPI Daffy Dill for the leaves. China Glaze Ingrid for the wood and then added a bit of black acrylic with my brush to give a bark effect. As you can see I changed my mind and switched that middle finger to a trunk mid stream.

These last two were taken in indirect sunlight.
Don't forget to check out all the other great decals at Lelia's store linked here. All in all I am well impressed with the quality and selection of the Green Goddess Creations store. Lelia also works on custom orders for those of you who need something specific, or for a special occasion.

Green Goddess Creations, Panda Nail Decal

These amazingly adorable Panda Water Slide Decals were sent to me by the lovely Lelia over at Green Goddess Creations on Store Envy linked here. You can also see a peek of the owls I get to show you next. Her packaging was cute and her instructions very easy to follow, and you also get 40 images per sheet, so it's a great value and will last forever.

The colours I used for this mani were Sally Hansen White On, Sally Girl un-named pastel green, Essie Shake Your $$ Maker and Revlon After Party.

Below I have a shot of the decals all trimmed and ready to go. The direct link for them is linked here.

Using money maker and after party I created the bamboo accent fingers. These were very simple to achieve for anyone interested.

And voila, the stars of the show make their appearance. These went the full width of my small nail bed, so they would fit any size nails. Once I had them on I added a little more of the bamboo around the top and gave them each a bamboo snack at the bottom.

Below is a way to close-up shot so you can check out the cuteness.

I can't stand how cute these came out, I might need to retire now from the nail game...nah...I still have the owls to play with!! Stay tuned for those.

For the cute owls or these Panda guys and soo many others please don't forget to visit Lelia's Store Envy linked here.  With spring coming up decals sure make nail art quicker so you can get outside!

Cheers all,
