Spiral Stamp, Bundle Monster

What I wore last weekend was this cute mix and match spiral stamping look. The accent finger is Ruby White Tips Addicted and the pink is an unlabelled pink neon. I stamped using Bundle Monster BM-XL01 and added some acrylic paint dots to finish it off.

I'm so glad it's spring and time to brighten up. Spring cleaning has been happening around my place too, all those jobs you put off and tackle in the spring!

Stained Glass Daisies

Today's look is another stamping decal practice session I sat down for, actually reverse stamping. The base on this is Indie Polish Crash and the images are from BM-XL01 and BM-618 from Bundle Monster using Essie Penny Talk and Revlon Midnight Affair. I loved the stained glass look this ended up having and the depth once I matted it.

Thanks for stopping by, I'm currently working on an awesome freehand look since it's been a while and my first Instagram tutorial video...fingers crossed!

Bundle Monster and Moyou London Nail Stamping

So this is a rejected look for Digital Dozen Does Spring. But I'll tell you two secrets... 1. I loved this and the only reason it got rejected is because my hands looked all red and angry. I've noticed my pictures tend to do this if I photograph too late in the day or on rainy days. 2. The only reason I've got a sixth look is because I went to catch up on post edits and realized I had 4 looks that were perfect for Spring posts. I usually hit Digital Dozen week with two designs in the bag, but this week I was done a week in advance! For the images I used Moyou Holy Shapes Collection -02 and Bundle Monster flowers from BM-321.

Hope you guys are safe and warm. Ontario is pretty shut down after an ice storm that raged all last night. The kids are home as all schools in our region are closed and many in our city are without power.

Digital Dozen Does Spring Day 5, Gradient Nail Stamping

Well that's it, I went 5/5 this week working on my stamping. I've been playing around with layering and combos I wouldn't normally try. I'm pretty happy overall with the improvements from all this practice. For this one, the spiral image is from Hehe 003 and is stamped in Essie Penny Talk. The base is Ruby White Tips Soft Kitty, the pink is acrylic paint and the grey is Ruby White Tips Addicted.

Don't worry, I haven't given up on freehand. I've just really wanted to improve my stamping and wear more of it. Hope everyone enjoyed Digital Dozen Spring week.

Digital Dozen Does Spring Day 4, Chevron Double Nail Stamping

Today's look I loved almost as much as yesterday's. I love nudes, and black and white add a certain sexy/simplicity to a nude look. In my opinion this is a totally wearable everyday look. This is Sally Hansen Choco-latte stamped in black and white. The images are Bundle Monster BM-314 and Mouyou Holy Shapes Collection-02.

After wearing it a bit, I wished I'd matted. I feel like I matte everything though, and have been making an effort to give you more variety in finish. Check out my ladies below for the rest of the day four Spring looks.

Digital Dozen Does Spring Day 3, Pastels and Double Stamping

Today's look is my favourite of Digital Dozen Does Spring week. It combines my love of springy pastels, skitlettes, patterns and matte all in one mani. The pink finger images are from Moyou Holy Shapes Collection plate 02 and BM-314 from Bundle Monster and the polish is China Glaze Dance Baby, and the blue finger is Barielle Swizzle Stix and the images are from Hehe 002 and Bundle Monster BM-606.

I've been really into trying out double stamping combos lately so you guys will have to hang out a bit longer for anything freehand. I do have a couple freehand florals coming up soon.

Digital Dozen Does Spring Day 2, Gradient Nail Stamping

Today's look was one I wanted to wear on a hot sunny day recently. You know 'hot' is a relative term in Ontario in Spring, but when the thaw starts I'm always reaching for teals and corals. This is a base of Ciate Pepperminty stamped with Black and a gradient I created by stamping with black and dark teal in the same swipe. The images are both from BM-XL01 from Bundle Monster. I matted and wore this for as long as possible.

Hope you enjoyed day two of Digital Dozen Does Spring. Check out my girls looks in the links below.

Digital Dozen Does Spring Day 1, St. Patricks Day Nail Art

Today I'm double purposing my St. Patrick's manicure as Day 1 of Digital Dozen Does Spring. The first things I think of when I think of Spring are celebrating Easter, St. Patrick's Day and bulb flowers sprouting and signaling that nature feels it's spring as well as the calendar. For this look I did a base of Color Club Twiggie and then stamped the knot image from Bundle Monsters Holiday collection on plate BM-H05 on top of the image in white from BM-606.

I love the final look and am wearing these today.

Cheers all, and drink those green beers and shakes responsibly!

Floral Nail Art, One Nail to Rule Them All

This ones from a couple weeks back. One Nail to Rule Them All posted this great dots and floral look and I really wanted to wear it for myself. The base on this is Sally Hansen Mousseline and the details are all acrylic paints. This was amazing in person and easy enough to create for the dreaded second hand.

Hope everyone had a great Easter and some quality family time.

KBShimmer, Field of Greens

SO the other day was all gorgeous and sunny and Spring feeling. I just felt the need to wear green...and I almost never wear green and certainly not without art. This is two coats of an oldie from KBShimmer, Field of Greens. I wore this for a couple days and loved how fresh green can make you feel. This green jelly is just gorgeous and a great formula too considering how old the polish is. Round of applause for all things KBShimmer!

I normal rush for the pastels in spring, but just had the green itch. What is your go to in spring when the thaw starts!

Chevron Love

You might remember the cute coffee mug look I did for Digital Dozen linked here, and this is what I created for my Cinderella hand...because that micro design was really not going to happen with my non dominant hand. I really liked the base Bundle Monster micro chevron stamped on Canadian Gold from Mr's P's Nail Potions, so I added some simple dotting in the same acrylic paint colours as the freehand look.

That's all for today guys, if you can stamp you can do this and it looks way more complex, difficult and layered than it was.

Purple Fab With Decal

More playing around today with my Clear Jelly Stamper from  Born Pretty Store. I used two coats of Pop Art Purple from Finger Paints for the base of this and it's still one of my favorite bright almost neon purples. I then used Essie Penny Talk  and Konad White to create a gradient stamped floral using Bundle Monster BM-S104. I then used China Glaze Mind The Gap and BM-616 to create this starburst decal for the upper corner of my middle finger.

Hope everyone is well! It's starting to feel a bit more spring like here in Canada, so I have lots more brights and pastels coming up. The presence of actual sunshine always makes me start to add more fun colours back into my wardrobe and makeup routine.

Blue Nails, R2D2 Nails

This one qualifies for #clairesttelle8mar Blue prompt day, which is today. The base on this weirdly wonderful look is Frostbite from China Glaze. I stamped with some geometric designs from Bundle Monster and then dotted in some teal and black dots wherever I felt it needed it. Then matte and that is that! I was going for random and geometric and ended up with R2D2...kinda!

Crazy things happen when you sit down with no plans!

Cheers all,
