Valentines Roses Nail Art

So this is my second Valentine look post. Slightly more complicated than the first, which was just polish layering. I want to give you a few looks at different Nail Art levels so that everyone can get themselves some fab nails come date night...or just for yourself!

Base for these was a loaner, and it's a a Color Club I had never seen before. It's called Cosmic a Fate and is a coral holo! Holla! It's amazing for flare and colour. The first few pics are two coats with topper before the nail art.

Below is the art. I wanted a vintage Victorian wallpaper look. If you google that, you'll be shocked at all the gorgeous results you get. Sooooo many great ideas!

I used tons of polishes for this. I just kept adding tiny c shaped swirls in reds and yellows till I liked it. The same with the leaves. I layered shades of green until I liked the look. And as always, quick dry adds shine and just seems to improve the look of your art.

Hope you like this. It's only my second attempt at roses!

Cheers all,

    1. These ones took a while to be 'right'. I always find I come to a point where I think...walk away! Sometime I try too hard and should stop sooner. Lol

    1. My second time doing art over holo, and I do think it adds some drama.

  4. Adore the effect of those gorgeous roses over the holo - it moves the design to a whole new level! <3
