Base for these was a loaner, and it's a a Color Club I had never seen before. It's called Cosmic a Fate and is a coral holo! Holla! It's amazing for flare and colour. The first few pics are two coats with topper before the nail art.
Below is the art. I wanted a vintage Victorian wallpaper look. If you google that, you'll be shocked at all the gorgeous results you get. Sooooo many great ideas!
I used tons of polishes for this. I just kept adding tiny c shaped swirls in reds and yellows till I liked it. The same with the leaves. I layered shades of green until I liked the look. And as always, quick dry adds shine and just seems to improve the look of your art.
love love love!! So romantic looking!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amie, exactly what I was hoping for!
DeleteWow that is amazing work, great job!
ReplyDeleteThese ones took a while to be 'right'. I always find I come to a point where I think...walk away! Sometime I try too hard and should stop sooner. Lol
DeleteOh wow! I never thought to layer flowers like that over a holo, so clever! These are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy second time doing art over holo, and I do think it adds some drama.
DeleteAdore the effect of those gorgeous roses over the holo - it moves the design to a whole new level! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam. That means a lot!
