January 3, Water Spots

So girls this is not what we think of when we think water spotted mani right? I know, but I got a headache from the perfume when I tried that technique last time, and then the clean up was like yikes! So. I've decided to cheat, and thought this was a clever way to do it. I web searched and found a Lucy's stash Youtube tutorial on these linked here. And voila! Water spots...no? I think it was a pretty clever cheat, and I must say a neat mani. Hers, were of course flawless, so check the out too. By the way, the base is Tardis from Above The Curve. Two coats and flawless.

Not as heat in macro, but shows the cool one stroke technique used. I'm thinking I'd like to recreate this again sometime.

Cheers all,

  6. What a brilliant idea. However, did you know you can use hand sanitiser aerosol spray for water spotted nails? You can find a tutorial for it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnhfvuoBAMo Just thought you might be interested.
