January 16, Mad Hatter for Digital Dozen Week

Here he is, the mad one himself! The Mad Hatter! My inspiration for this image was Johnny Depp's portrayal of the Hatter. I have to star by saying, I'm terrified by portraiture. You'll see why in my macro below. The base polish for this is Revlon After Party in two coats. My design is all acrylic paint except for my stamped lightening which was done with Konad Special Black.

As is my resent habit...cause its awesome...I then gave it a Cult Wax That coat on top.

Now here's that macro, you can see where I struggled around the nose. The makeup on the character is in grey pink and white tones, and I found it difficult to get definition in certain parts.
All in all, I'm proud of him though.

This however, I think I rocked! I've never done anything like dishes, but I love the tea cup and its shading.

All in all, a funky 'mad' look and a great week! I'm very happy with my entries for my first week in the Digital Dozen. The talent of these girls totally pushed me to excel. Don't forget to check out the rest of today's looks below, and drop my girls a line in the comment boxes.

Cheers all,
