OMD2, 31. Signature Style
This is it, the final prompt! I made it, and have all my prompts done and posted!!! I'm pretty proud of myself too. Today is Signature Style, and mine is girlie girlie girlie. I do a lot of florals and animal prints, and shy away from more masculine and sexy looks most of the time. I chose blue for this look because in real life it's my favorite colour, as is pink. This blue is a new one I picked up. It's Endless Blue from Sinful Colors, and it's THE perfect medium blue! This is two coats. The flowers were OPI Alpine White, Sally Hansen Berry Juicy and China Glaze Pink Voltage.
So, what did everyone think of this years OMD2? I know I'm probably game for next year, although I might not do any month long challenges for a looooooong while!

OMD2, 23. Negative Space
This is my Negative Nails mani...you knw the one I've been avoiding because striping tape and I aren't real friendly and we don't play nice. But here it is, I ventured into my uncomfortable territory and I'm not too unhappy with the final look. The floral designs are from a look I saw on Instagram from @thenailtrail. She based the design on a Cath Kidston pattern. Hers were all red, but mine I matched to my stripes. I used NYX Fierce Purple, and Essence Off to Miami. The silver is an unnamed polish I have, and the white and green are acrylic paint...and yes, I used striping tape for that ring finger!
Hope you liked my nemesis nails today!

OMD2, 30. Fashion
You're going to laugh at my Fashion prompt nails, and I don't care!! Not because they aren't cute, but because I got the inspiration from my 3 year old's new undies! I had a high fashion dress with a pretty floral pattern picked out to recreate, but the red toned camo print on these lil bad boys called out my name! I used Sinful Colors Hazard for my base and for the splodges I used a mix of China Glaze Orange Knockout, Liquid Leather and Sally Hansen Rapid Red. I then topped it with matte top coat for more of a material look.
I think I've only ever done one other camo mani...for another challenge actually, so I enjoyed doing this one. Guess what, guess what...as my 3 year old always says...there are two more pairs of camo undies to recreate!!

OMD2, 29. National Pride
This is my mani for National Pride. I'm Canadian, and was going with a kind of Canadian graffiti look here. I tigured lots of folks would do flags, so this was my attempt at outside the box. The red is OPI Passion For Fashion in two coats. Then I took white and grey acrylic pant and painted a large stripe and let it dry. Once dry, I washed my hands and got portions of it off. I then stamped the Maple leaves image over top!
Hope you like the look of my strange new graffiti technique!
Cheers all,
OMD2, 28. Bridal
This is my entry for the bridal prompt. I literally have two more manis to do in the challenge, as the rest I've been able to get done in between. This challenge has been my favorite challenge I've done as yet. Anyway, the nails! I used Finger Paints Don't make a scene for the nude french tip. I then aded a coat of Color Club Pearl-Spective topper for the shimmery look I was going for. Once dry, I used all acrylic for the roses and dotting.
I would have worn this look for my wedding, what do you think?
Cheers all,
OMD2, 27. Nautical
These are my Nautical nails for today's OMD2 prompt. All my inspiration came from the Bundle Monster anchor stamp I used on my ring finger and this incredible polish from Laquerlicious...did I say incredible? Yes and YES! Lquerlicious Lady Liberty is one of my all time favorite polishes. It's the perfect colour for a nautical look and as always the formula will rock you. This is two coats for my base, with China Glaze Liquid Leather and OPI Alpine Snow for the stripes and dots.
I have to say if you like nautical nails, this polish is like nautical in a bottle. I loved the contrast of the mini coppery bits in the light teal. It's really beautiful.

OMD2, 26. Outdoors
Sooo my girlies, getting near the end of this challenge and I was feeling a little bit like I wasn't up to my own steam art wise...but that's what these challenges do to you. I had a couple fails, but then we move on. In this case, I love it and you will see why below. First for the Outdoor prompt I was thinking I would try and paint the front of my house and property...then...I got lazy. I looked out my back window to my fave place and decided I needed to represent! We recently moved, and for the first time in my life, I have a pool. This is my yard here in Ontario Canada.
My husband recently picked up this floaty so my kids would stop fighting over the smaller ones. and as any good nail girl would, I immediately thought it would make the cutest mani.
For the base I used two coats of Revlon Blue Lagoon, it's one of my faves I never use. Dry time on this is crazy long, but quick dry helps. This polish really is the perfect baby blue shimmer. My awesome cute flowers were all acrylic except the green which is from Color Club.
...and here they are...both...Cindy looks pretty good too yes? I do do both hands often enough, especially with something this cute...just not during a challenge, but I couldn't help myself this time, because I really loved the design.

OMD2, 25. Roses
This entry for roses I actually did to match an outfit and wear. Big deal right? Wrong, during a nail challenge it's hard to wear any mani or even finish both hands since you just need to remove it anyway. I really love this Barielle Swizzle Stix, so I did my two coats and then winged it on my design. I knew I only wanted a design on two fingers as an accent, so I added my black acrylic dots and got started on the roses. The roses were created with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, a touch of the Barrielle and a hint of the black. I tried something different, by swirling in the colours while the rose base was still wet. I then added the teensie leaves with two different shades of green.
Hope you like this simple but sweet design.

OMD2, 24. Fruit
Finger Paints Don't make a scene is the base of this. This is two coats. My 'nanners' for this Fruit prompt look and all the dots were done in black and yellow acrylic. By the way, this look was super quick and easy. This would be a great beginner look for any nail art newbies.
Nom nom nom!
Cheers all,
OMD2, 22. Feathers
This is my entry for feathers. I recently freehanded some feathers, and didn't really like them much. So this mani is my clever way of not actually painting any detailed feathers. This red is OPI Passion for Fashion, and is the perfect red for my lil angry bird friend here. His beak was OPI Shop Till Sunset and his belly was Finger Paints Don't Make a Scene. The black and White are acrylics.

OMD2, 21. Animal Print
These...I love love love! I got the idea when I did my rainbow nails linked here. I used the same technique here on the pinky using all the colours of the rainbow, then added the black dots. I then used the purple and red from the rainbow and added this different style of tiger stripe on top. The red is OPI Passion For Fashion, the purple is this NYX Fierce Purple and the silver an unnamed bottle that was a stocking stuffer.

OMD2, 18. Dotticure
So, after a marathon of editing last night I'm all caught up! Now I'll stagger the posts out to you! Getting near the end of this motha too! Anywho, this was my entry for dotticure. It's on a lovey base of a newer polish I picked up, two coats of Rainbow Honey Be Mine. The rest of the details are in acrylic.i loved the bronze shimmer in this coral polish, and should definately swatch it for you guys soon.
OMD2, 20. Chevron
These are my a Entry for the Chevron prompt. I'm a little behind on my prompts right now, but I had a great weekend with my family so it was worth it! This lovely grey holo is two coats of Above a the Curve Don't Blink, and the purple Above The Curve Pretend It's A Plan. The chevrons I masked off with Green Goddesss Creations Nail Masks. I then used black and white acrylic for the remaining details.
I really liked these and as usual my pot lights made the holo...fantastic! Tune into tomorrow, as I play catch up.

OMD2, 18. Ombre
So I know 'ombré' has two meanings around here. Some people use it to describe gradients and others to describe a mani where each finger is a shade lighter then the last but in the same colour. So, that said my base art was both. A gradient that lightened finger to finger! I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls for the white base and then a mix of green polish for the gradient. For the roses and leaves design, I used all acrylic. This look was loosely inspired by one of lynieczka on Instagram. Her's is much better, I may try her version with daisies another time.
I loved the final look here, hope everyone is still enjoying the challenge!

OMD2, 17. Galaxy
Did I ever mention I don't really like galaxy...probably cause I suck at it. I thought I had it solved with this amazing polish...
KBShimmer Strung Out. It's basically a galaxy in a bottle, and a good one. I should have just stopped there and cheated. This is just one coat over black!
Here is a macro, just look how galaxy this is, and its just one coat over black like I said!
Anyway, then I added some shimmers for galaxy whirls and a spaceship that looks like tin can...then I gave the tin can some fire that kind of looks like barf!
Now that we've all had a great laugh at this epic nonsense, I can't wait for tomorrow's dotticure prompt. I'm pretty good at those!
Cheers all,
